Love it! Perfect for my needs!

Using any computer is difficult since I cant sit for long periods. This cart is great for along side my very high pedestal bed and the lower lounge in living room. Very easy to assemble. I have NOT noticed any of the top heavy issues mentioned by others. I use this with a laptop without any problem. My only wish would be that the top would go about 3 lower.

Great option for a small office

I work at home and tend to sit at my desk for 10/12 hours a day, and have done so for many, many years. So when Bloomberg Businessweek reported in June 2012: A raft of recent medical research has shown that the more time a person spends sitting every day, the more likely he or she is to suffer from heart disease, diabetes, obesity, cancer, and, worst of all, an early death. Well, okay . I think its worth looking into giving a stand/up desk a try. Thing is, a good stand/up desk can run into many hundreds (even thousands) of dollars. Not only are they financial overkill, the footprint of the item tends to be significant. I have a very crowded office and removing my existing desk is not an option, so I was looking for something that I could add into my relatively small space that would enable me to easily switch back and forth between standing and sitting. This is exactly what I was looking for. Its built solidly, the footprint is small, and it even adds a little extra storage space for magines and odds and ends. Im still not used to standing up and working, but anything that helps mitigate changes of heart disease, diabetes, obesity, cancer and an early death is a good thing, so Im going to stick with it for a while. (By the way: Another reviewer noted that when assembling the desk, there was space between the pieces. I experienced this during assembly, too, but turning the tightening bolts counter/clockwise enabled the pieces to rest together without space. Kudos, too, for the packaging: Not only is a screwdriver supplied, but in addition to the little bags of individual hardware parts theres one labeled spare with one of each part, just in cast there was a packaging error along the way. Smart.)

If you have a problem, contact the seller before the manufacturer

When I received it, one of the side panels had a damaged corner. I called the manufacturer and was sent a replacement. It arrived a week later with another damaged corner. The second one seemed functional enough so I didnt call again. I also didnt want to wait another week. Its working OK otherwise. I wrote an earlier review with a 2/star rating. The company who shipped me the desk responded that I should have contacted them first and they wouldve handled the replacement better. They have also offered to refund my shipping costs. I have upped the star rating due to their diligence in trying to make up for the problems and because the desk has functioned as advertised otherwise.

    Great for home recording gear

I was looking for a compact, mobile platform to put the guts of my home studio, a PA amp and mixer. I had a 4 computer desk, but got rid of the laptop, monitors, etc. in favor of recording to an iPad. So, I wanted something smaller that I could move around if needed. I bought this after reading many reviews of various laptop stands. I liked the size and the ability to lower and raise the top laptop shelf. This unit more than met my expectations. It was easy to assemble, although having a power screw driver helped a lot. I agree with other reviewers that some of the holes werent punched out, but all the pieces lined up fine on mine. I also like the size and depth of the book shelf on the bottom. I keep music, reference books and anything else I can cram into the space. Other reviewers have also mentioned that it doesnt roll well on carpet. The casters lock, and they were all shipped in the locked position. Once I unlocked them, I didnt have any problem. I have the top shelf pretty high, and it seems like the unit can get top heavy. Im sure this stand will last for quite a while. Its sturdy when assembled. the only thing that could be improved somehow is the height adjustment. There are knobs on each side that must be loosened to readjust the top shelf and then re/tightened. This is difficult with heavy objects on the shelf.

    Perfect Standing Desk

Just what it says it is and what it looks like. Im 64 and it is tall enough for me. Although the desktop is smallish (yet it fits my 15 notebook, a cup of coffee and the TV remote) the unit has several levels for placing items. Arrived on time.

What a perfect laptop stand with storage!

This laptop stand was easy to assemble. All of the parts were clearly marked and of good quality. Unlike other laptop stands, this one has storage. Mine holds music books, CDs, laptop, speakers, metronome, and more! Now its all together and I can roll it into the living room when the quartet comes over to practice! The modern design and nice finish get raves from my friends and family. Well worth the money!

Great for watching movies from Laptop.

I do really like this laptop cart. Hear are the reasons that I like it: it is sturdy, it has lots of storage for media books and magines, it was affordable. It is also great to watch movies from my laptop, and if I want I can wheal it over to the tv and plug it in using the hdmi cable. The only reason it didnt get a 5 from me was the fact that you cant lean back on your couch and type.
