Yes, this is a laptop/friendly stand. I tried a regular keyboard but no room for a mouse . although you could easily use a keyboard without the numeric keypad and it should work fine.
Have been standing while working since the early 2000s. Too much sitting makes me tired. This will get you standing, will not take up much room, and will leave a lot of money in your pocket from not having to buy a fullsized standup desk.
I actually got this not for a laptop, but for my wireless keyboard, so that when my back starts bothering me, as it inevitably does after a few hours of sitting, I can move my keyboard and mouse to it and stand a few feet back from the monitor and keep working. Its nicely madeI expected it to be kinda chintzy but its actually decent quality for what it is. There were all kinds of horror stories about assembling it so I waited for my husband to get home to do it, and he put it together with no trouble at all. There are a lot of pieces so it probably took 20 minutes or so. Nothing missing (on the contrarythere were spare parts!) and everything went together flawlessly. A few people also commented that theres were a little wobbly if you have it fully extended but I havent found that to be the case with mine. Its sturdy and just the right height (when its extended) to stand with my keyboard. I like its compact size since when Im not using it, its taking up valuable real estate in my office. It has a little bit of storage space down below which I havent used yet. Theres exactly the right amount of space on the work surface for a wireless keyboard, mouse (i have to put it in front of the keyboard, not beside it, because the keyboard is large), and even a bottle of water. Im incredibly happy with this and as Im utilizing it anyway can recommend it without reservation.

I was very anxious to see how this was going to be and was pleasantly surprised! Although it did take me over an hour for assembly, overall it is a decent stand. There are A TON of screws so it does take a while to put together (1 hr), but once it is finished, it looks very nice. This would have been MUCH easier with a powered screwdriver and would have eliminated at least 30 minutes! The wood MDF material seems ok I was a little disappointed to see that the coating on the unit chipped away around the screw holes as I was screwing the screws in (this is why I didnt give it 5 stars). I hope the rest of the stand does not chip this easy with bumps along the way. One really nice thing is the the directions were nicely organized and each piece was correctly labeled with a sticker for easy assembly. Again, I would say I am (so farits day 1) pleasantly pleased with this stand!
Had a good feeling I would like this when I bought it. Turns out, I do! One of the coolest things Ive ever purchased. Wasnt as hard to put together as I thought it would be, totally worth the little bit of struggle to get it upright Im a computer nut and could burn away entire days at the computer but I get bored sitting for a really long time, bored seeing the same scenery, and sometimes just feel stiff from sitting so long. So, I migrate over to this thing and all of those problems are solved! Then, when my feet get tired of standing, I go sit back down haha.
This is a great conversation piece too. Multiple clients where I work (at a computer company) will come in and ask me so many questions about this. One person even came back to let me know they liked it so much they bought one too.
Oddly, the immediate people I work with all hate this thing. even though Ive seen them use it multiple times, they still tell me they hate it. I ended up taking it home cause it drew so much attention I couldnt stand it anymore lol. Negative and positive and I didnt care, I loved it and thats what mattered. Also, people kept placing their entire body weight on the top of it (with their elbows) and it really isnt good for it. Dont place your elbows and body weight onto the top. If you look at its shape and design, it obviously isnt meant to hold your body weight. You will break it, ya dingus.

Ive been looking for an affordable standing desk since I work from home and sitting all day without taking proper breaks was starting to cause shooting pains down my left leg and lower back pain. Id seen a couple desks that I liked but they were more than I wanted to spend, so I came to to see if they had something similar for a better price, I came across this desk and my search ended! The price was excellent, the style was perfect as I wanted something practical that didnt take up too much space and the color is even more striking in person than it is in the picture. It fits right in with my other decor and I love the fact that I can wheel this around effortlessly wherever I like and I also like being able to store my cords, notebooks, papers, etc in the bottom. This was pretty easy to put together and I paired this with an under mount mouse platform and standing mat (which I also got from ) and I have the perfect mobile standing office that fits all my needs; I would highly recommend!
It was fairly easy to put together. Just the right height for standing. It is perfect for keeping it at one height, changing the height on a regular basis is not as convenient because you have to adjust 2 handles, but it works perfect for me since I use it mainly in standing. There is also enough room on the top to use a mouse. The cart sturdy is easily moved on the carpet, no tipping.

wonderful mobile desk
This desk is very nice for the price. I can work anywhere in my house sitting or standing. The storage at the bottom is a nice extra.

A little rickety when all the way up
