my dad is 62 with arthritis was having difficulty standing up from furniture. He fought me buying this for him, but within a couple days called to thank me. My mom now says it is the only chair he uses. Really helps keep him independent. Also he naps daily in it, so it is comfortable. Like that it has a remote vs a button on side of chair, easier for my dad to use. Definitely highly recommend suggest you get it whether someone thinks they need it or not / because they will benefit
I purchased this chair for my mother who is older and not able to stand easily from a sitting position. The chair came in 2 boxes. One was a bit heavy. But I was able to manage it. If you cannot lift over 50lbs. You will need assistance. The assembly was fairly straight forward. Basically you attach the sides and back and then hook up the cabling. The cables are keyed so you can only plug them into the correct port. Overall very happy with this chair. The comfort level is great. The chair works very well . I am 300 lbs and it lifts me up just fine.
I can recommend this chair if you have a loved one that needs assistance getting up.
I cant say enough good things about this chair. I bought it for my husband after major surgery. He was in so much pain when trying to get up. And couldnt lay flat. He loves this chair. It goes back enough so you can sleep comfortably. Thank GOD hes getting more sleep. And so easy to get up. So comfortable! Love the color! And reasonably priced. You wont regret purchasing this chair at all! I even want one for myself
I ordered this recliner for my 87 year old mother and shes very happy with it. It was mostly easy to assemble except for one small part in the lower back of the chair (I believe when connecting the remote control) that did not fit. Luckily, my brother in law was able to modify it with tools and make it work. The chair is comfortable and the remote control is simple and easy to use.
