Needed a new smaller lift chair for Dad since he has lost weight. Perfect size for him. We did have to purchase a headrest pillow for him to be comfortable laying his head back. (Maybe the chair couldve had some more cushion in head area.) Simple 2 button operation. Dad loves the chair since the pillow was added.
Anyone with a disability that makes getting up out on an easy/chair difficult really needs a chair like this. Ive only had it about a month, but it seems to be well built and the remote works like a dream.
This is the second McCombo chair that weve purchased in the past year for our aged mother who has difficulty foisting herself off a seat. The first time I lamented putting the chair together / and did so in about 35 minutes (whew / relief!). This time it took even less time (from pulling the box into the living room and then getting my mother into the finished seat there was no more than 30 minutes of time that elapsed). Im not one to write effusive reviews of basic products but this chair has helped our family appreciably and Im glad its not Ikea/like in that one must parse every word of the instructions in order to assemble the piece over a span of hours. Great product.

This is a very nice recliner. Very comfortable. Easy to assemble. The lift works perfectly. The light says on all the time on the remote. If the light only came on when you touch it, that would be better. Other than that, I am very pleased with the recliner.
My husband needs it due to back issues. It helped him get out of the chair. Now its broken after only 18 mon. The metal at the end of the rod sheared off after a terrible clanking noise. I thought these would last longer. He could use it as a regular recliner but he cant get out of it without the lift mechanism. He is afraid to hurt his back again. Is this supposed to happen.
I AM UPDATING MY REVIEW TO 5 stars on the customer service and communication. After I wrote the original review I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and positively they responded. They sent us what we needed to update the motor and rod. We fixed it easily and now my husband has his chair back. He is very happy! Thank you, Exact/me. !!

Chair arrived earlier than stated. The box with the motor is rather heavy so be aware. I brought the pieces one by one up to my second floor bedroom for assembly which made it easier to carry but also provided me with extra steps for my days exercise. Assembly is simple and easy to follow directions. Chair operates at a moderate pace and is comfortable. Wife has been enjoying it daily. I liked it so much that I bought a second chair for first floor family room so wife can enjoy sitting down there when desired.

Disappointed
Although this chair is easy to assemble and quite comfortable it started leaning to one side after 2 months. Dont waste your money.

Only lasted 18 mon. Metal at end of rod broke.
