Exactly as described. All wood product. Assembly was step by step follow the directions. If you are a do it yourself type of person you will not have any problem with this. Great looking Hall Tree.
It came with several visible scratches and imperfections straight out of the box (the lid on the bench/chest is misaligned or too small creating a gap on one side compared to the other) to which the seller offered a very small partial refund for. It’s a nice and sturdy hall tree though with great storage space in the chest and on top, I just wish it was a bit bigger.
This is a beautiful piece and fairly easy to assemble. Very sturdy once assembled.
Couple of negatives, but not enough to change the rating:
- The included hex tool is made of a cheap metal. I had to switch to my own hex tool halfway through to finish assembly, as the edges of the hex tool were soft enough to warp with use, becoming unusable with the screws.
- The wood is a slightly cheaper quality than expected, so will dent fairly easy if dinged by something hard on accident. I bumped it lightly against our shoe shelf, and a dented line appeared in this.
I had a friend assemble it, (arthritis - not lazy!) and it was put together fairly quickly. It is sturdy, looks great and looks much more expensive than the cost. (PS: I shopped around and this was the best price out there.) The storage unit has a very nice closure - it wont slam shut. It;s built! Highly recommended!

At first we didnt read the front of Manuel where it clearly states if any issues they warranty and to contact them directly. We already built majority of it and you cant take it apart .So we contacted and they were willing to send us a new one at no cost but by the time we get it it would be a month ( due to reasons out of their control during COVID). However after speaking to a rep at he said to send some verification of issues and proof purchase purchase and would send replacement part in 2-3 buisness days. The product quality as mentioned is compatible to ikea...its not hardwood and may not last us a lifetime but for the value its a good piece and since company seems happy to correct issues Im going to say we are overall happy with our purchase.
I’m very happy with my halltree. It’s real wood! It wasn’t difficult to put together. And it’s pretty sturdy. Very happy! This is the first time I have ordered a piece of furniture online and I’m happy
Good piece but disappointed when I found some hardware defected. Ie: nail/ screw head with no nail. Part of the wood was chipped.
Guess I know why this piece was discounted.

Easy to put together. Good quality and finish. I was not expecting it to be so nice since the price was so low. Worth it.

WOW! It looks great and is a lifesaver for our hallway!
