So-so quality, but nice for the price. Arrived slightly dinged up on some edges, and a pain to put together by myself. But overall I would recommend; looks very nice once finished.
This is the perfect bench for my tiny entryway, it holds all our hats and scarves for easy access in the bench storage as the cold weather approaches and is even holding my dogs leash and car harness. I love the low profile spot to sit and put on shoes without taking up tons of space or looking bulky. The assembly went faster with two people, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The hinges on the bench work great and the whole thing feels sturdy.
Aside from the bottom panel which is a bit flimsy (but could easily be replaced), very solid unit. Not too hard to put together...love the barrel nut hardware. Highly recommend!

It is solid wood, and very pretty sitting by the door. Has gotten a lot of use already.
We use it at the entryway, the screws for the hinges are to small and came stripped, had to put in longer ones.
