Arrived on time , well packaged , moderately easy to assemble even for a novice, sturdy and handsome . When the foundation of the mattresses are assembled they are secured with tiny plastic inserts which I could not get into each slot , requiring the weight of the mattresses to do the work. Otherwise, perfect .
It was pretty easy to set up alone, although it does take a while if you don't have assistance. Getting the bottom bar "holders" to stay in is a bit of a challenge so make sure you have pliers/wrenches of some sort to help squeeze them in. There's a lot and your fingers WILL get tired!
Seems sturdy. I have the 16 y/o on the bottom and the 9 y/o on top and no one has come crashing through. My 16 y/o likes the extra space between the bottom and top bunk this time. No more hitting his head when he sits up!!
I personally am not a fan of the metal (metal looks like a prison bed), but they wanted metal and hopefully this will last a little longer than the wood one we had before.
Only complaint if any is that assembly takes a little bit of thinking. I accidentally had a part or two facing the wrong direction and had to unscrew a piece or two to correct it. The manufacturer could have made the instructions a bit more obvious and clear to avoid this. For example, clearly marked stickers or points that let you know if parts are facing the right direction.
However this small problem in no way changes how great this bunk bed is. I'm 6'0 225 lbs and have had no problems on the top or bottom beds. For the moment, to save money, I put air mattresses on top & bottom with covers underneath to avoid the rubber and metal rubbing noise. Not to mention the Price! Other vendors have this bed priced at $325 and above. Got it here on for a little over $100 less. I love .com! Will continue to shop as long as they provide great quality service! =)
I never know what they want me to say when they ask me to review a product. Either something functions accordingly or it doesn't. This bed is exactly as described. I have not had any problems with it. It was a pain to assemble but that was expected. It looks nice in our grandkids bedroom and the kids love it. The price on was better than anywhere I could find it, even locally, and the shipping was free. Can't beat that.
This is a sturdy, fairly easy to assemble trundle bed. Works great! Rolls easily and isn't too high. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars were some plastic secure pins which were a bit hard to push in. You need some strong fingers for help.
First, my order came right on time! Second, my order was correct, it came in 1 big box so no hassle. The bed is great now that it is put together. My only issue, and not really an issue, was that it took about 2 hours to put it all together, and there are these little safety snaps that have to go in each hole, well... my fingers hurt pretty bad after doing them all, but it is definitely worth it. I am very happy with the entire purchase and glad I did it. It is sturdy and serves my purpose. My girls love it!
This is a good bed, very solid, safe, love that it's a full size bed on the bottom and single on the top, great for having guests over with or without kids.
I'm a very handy guy, i have put together more than a few particle board furniture pieces in my day, this was the most time consuming project i have taken on yet. It took me 4-5 hours over a 3 day span. Its a a great,good looking, cheap bunk bed, I also go a single memory foam mattress for the top bunk for 150$, my 7yr old loves it and its SUPER comfortable. I would recommend this bed to anyone but BE PREPARED to put it together, that is its only downfall.
Arrived in good shape. All the pieces were in the box. It took about 20 minutes to put it together and it was easy. I would recommend putting down a piece of plywood on the frame, so the mattress will have some support and last longer.
I ordered this bed for my daughter she picked it herself and We put it together in less than 3hrs. well my husband did put it together in less than 3hrs...I did helped reading the instructions though...lol But after "WE" finished OMG it looked so awesome and so not cheap looking for the price I thought it was going to be more like the ones you find at walmart but NO this one is a better build....LOVE IT and My daughter LOVES IT more and it is for her so I DO RECOMEND THIS BED. NO CONS
Just what I was looking for. I bought the bunk beds two years ago for my teenage sons, who were thirteen and fourteen at the time. Two years later, it's still just as sturdy as the first day. The white metal I thought would show everything is easily wiped down. Excellent strength and easy clean-up. Can't go wrong.

Great bed
