This came in 2 boxes. It was too heavy for me to bring in myself so I took the pieces in a few at a time.
I did use a 12v driver to assemble. I would recommend doing it this way so long as you dont go cry with tightening. Using a driver will reduce assembly time by 1/3 I estimate.
Be careful that the sides are oriented the correct way I put them on backward and had to disassemble half of it. I was impressed by the fit, though. Very nicely done
My 10 year old daughter and I put this together in about 3 hours. The directions were great, and the packaging was very intuitive and easy to understand. I had my doubts about how the lifting function would work for her, but it is super smooth going up. She loves having to put a little oomph into pulling it back down. I also love that the bedding doesnt mess up when you lift the bed. Even though we were tired after we assembled it (started late in the evening), she couldnt wait to organize her storage space. One of the floorboards had a slight tear in the leather, but you cant see it when the bed is made. Great purchase!

The instructions were so simple. The screws were sealed and numbered on one cardboard. There were even extra parts and screws provided. The product is sturdy and well made. The storage is exactly as it is pictured. Highly recommend it. I am a 74 year old woman who put it together with minimum assistance from my son. The only complaint I have is that it is not made in the USA.

It came in 2 boxes and nicely packaged with all that I needed to assemble it. Pretty easy to assemble, you need 2 people. The bed is really beautiful and very sturdy. I bought the grey linen color which looks a bit taupe and it was the perfect color since I didnt want a true grey bed. The ease of the gas lift and storage is what makes this bed outstanding. The storage space is deep and huge (twin) and very nicely done. If youre looking for a nice upholstered bed with maximum ease and storage, look no further, this is for you.

Be sure you read the directions when youre doing the wooden slats or you could really mess stuff up. I almost did. Great product, would recommend it.
