This bed is very similar to many other assemble your own offerings. However I found that there were several extra steps that made the process much easier to follow. A simple numbering system with fewer pieces to build. The screws and washers were easily identified versus one large bag of contents. I also appreciated that the supporting styrofoam packing was sealed in plastic to make it easy to recycle. All in all, an affordable bed that was a pleasure to put together.

Easy to assemble. Very sturdy. More underbed storage than older style bed. Can sit on edge of bed to put socks and shoes on, old bed was too high. Dont need a bedskirt, the oversized comforter covers most of the under bed from view.

The shipment is a long, narrow box, that weighs nearly 50 pounds. I really like this design, overall, and it looks great in the room. I use a foam (expansion type) mattress, which is very comfortable on this platform. These bed frame kits today are easier to assemble than ever, with the excellent included allen wrench, but I admit I am not so good at it as you may be. If you have trade skills, it might take you a half hour. If not, like me, it might take a couple leisurely hours or more studying the instructions again and again. I do like the result and it sleeps very comfortably.

Very sturdy. Easy to assemble. Its a pretty basic style, but the quality of the wood shelf is very good - nice finish.
Broke in a day Wood wasnt cut to the right length
I like the quality but wasnt worth it was used for a week was wobbly and planks broke was cut to fight correctly to short

Easy to assemble, no tools required. Everything in the box was packed neatly and protected. It also looks great in our room!
