I bought this for my son who is in college. He assembled it by himself. It would have been easier with two people but did not take a long time. The box it came in looked pretty rough and we were worried that the bed would be damaged but it was fine. It looks amazing. Love the style and color. It looks so much more expensive than it is. We also got the Zinus Ultima Comfort mattress to go with this bed and it fit perfectly. Love that there is no need for a box spring. He has been using it for a couple of months now. I am hoping it continues to hold up for a long time.
The large box was a bit tattered and I feared the worst. But was able to put the bed together in the first attempt following the clear 6 step instructions. Was a bit skeptical at first but have had the king size together now for a week and feel confident to endorse

I was looking for an inexpensive starter bed for my apartment. I hit the jack pot with this one! Assembly was easy took me about 45 mins to do alone. It works great with a memory foam 6 inch mattress.
The design and engineering of this bed frame is very clever; everything is packed in the headboard. It did not take very long for my boyfriend and I to assemble the bed, however I was a little disappointed in the color. The picture shows a cream/off-white, while what I received is more of a tan/beige. After assembling I thought it was not worth returning, just be aware that the color is a bit darker than the pictures show.
Normally, assembling furniture solo is more than just a little intimidating. When this was delivered to my apartment, I hulked it through the front door and then it sat in its box for a couple days. Once I worked up the courage, I opened the box and was pleasantly surprised to see that everything was all zipped into the headboard itself. After removing the parts, I was able to move everything into place without an issue. Assembly took me about an hour, and the directions were easy to follow. I appreciated that the hardware was already in place. All you have to do is connect things where they go and then tighten everything down with the included allen wrenches. I love the headboard now that it's assembled. It's nice and squishy, so it adds a layer of comfort for reading and Netflixing in bed.
