Went together pretty easily, good quality for the price. The headboard isnt super tall so with a thicker mattress (14) and lots of pillows you may not see a lot of it.
This bed came neatly packaged with parts zipped up in the headboard. The instructions were simple and easy to understand. No tools were needed. It took under an hour to assemble and can be done by one person. I am beyond happy with this purchase.
Bought this for a guest bedroom. Installed a Sealy Bed-In-Box full size interspring memory foam hybrid mattress over it. Finished bed and mattress was rated a 10 for comfort by my guest after four nights sleeping on it. The frame was well packaged for delivery and significant engineering went into packaging the bed. When I first started putting it together I was thinking that it did not seem very substantial, but after the full assembly, it was SOLID AS A ROCK. Bed was of high quality construction, everything assembled and aligned perfectly. Was able to outfit a guest bedroom with a full bed, sheets and pillows for under $500 from .com without leaving the house. Amazing. Hope this review helped you.
The box is EXTREMELY HEAVY! Definitely assemble in the room you plan to use it. I ordered the Queen Size. The instructions are all pictures which was a bit annoying. I suggest watching the video a couple times and then using the directions as a back up. It took me less than an hour to put it all together. Very easy and everything you need to put it together is in the box! All of the pieces and tools come zipped inside the headboard which is what I believe lead to a tear in the back. But, thats not a huge deal to me anyway.
I have had my bed frame almost a month. Everything was great: color, set up, sturdiness....but the measurements are for head board to foot board!! NOT THE INNER PART, there is a lip to the foot board so my king mattress does not fit on the plankes completely. It lays over the lip!!
Bought the King size in linen (although after 3 weeks of delays in shipping was mistakenly sent the dark charcoal grey by mistake. Returned to UPS (what a pain, its large and very heavy, takes 2 ppl to move it) and re-order for correct item was received in 3 days). My husband and I could not believe how SIMPLE this bed was to assemble. Can do it alone. Took less than an hour. Very impressed with the wood slats attaching to the steel frame with Velcro strips. Brilliant to avoid the slats shifting and sliding. Very very happy with this purchase. The quality and value are unbeatable! Trust me!
