We were able to fit a full-sized bed with a frame underneath parallel with absolutely no issues. We don't have it anchored to the wall, but it is in the corner of the room. It has started to shake a little after 5 months of use, but it doesn't squeak - we should just be able to tighten it up, and it'll be fine. We left off one of the railings so that it's easier to climb into - now if I don't fall out of the bed, it'll be great!
This was pretty easy to set up (husband and I grabbed a couple of beers and had date night putting this together). Our 6 year old LOVES it too.
We put a full size bed underneath it for company and that fits great. Well worth the money.
Good sturdy bed, easy to assemble. All parts were shipped and I would recommend this bed for anyone up to teenager size....My teenage daughters love having this bed in their room.
Fairly sturdy, overall construction was straightforward, you hands will be sore from in stalling plastic clips for every crossbar. Can't beat it for the price. It does sway a little but for two young children it does the trick.
Had this for a long time now - works very well! Super space saver! If you're hearing squeaking, please be sure everything has been tightened correctly. Mine does sway a bit when I get on or off, but that's to be expected.
Bought two of these beds. Great bed for my two sons, 8 & 9 years. Very sturdy for a metal bed frame. Only downfall is that one of the beds was missing the parts to one side of the ladder. Other than the factory packaging issue, I'm very satisfied and happy with the purchase.
It came quickly, and took me hours to put together. About half the time spent was trying to put in the little squares at the top of the support bars that run under each bed - very hard to put in. And having a hammer was helpful for the very challenging ones. But, it's done now and my kids love it. And it's sturdy and looks nice.
