very sturdy and looks really nice in the room. Not hard to put together but time consuming. All those little clips for the mattress support but then you see how much better the support is than most of these frames and you get it. Totally worth the effort.
Loved this bed. My son liked it for the first two weeks then was over sleeping up high but he loved playing under it since we turned that space into a fort. Wish he would of slept in it longer but it wasn't due to the bed as nothing was wrong with it and it was very sturdy. My nephew is enjoying it now!
Read all the instructions and make sure the parts are turned the correct way. Other reviews made this a little easier with popping the bars in place. I used a flat head screw driver. No squeak, but the ladder can mess with your feet if you're on them for more than a few seconds.
I have purchased several of these twin over twin bunk beds for adults. I would like for them to be available in black vs. gray. They are sturdier than they look & with decent mattresses are quite comfortable. We have clients returning to society with no resources & this helps to defray our overhead as a non-profit.
