My dad and sister visited us for three and a half weeks and had to share a tiny bedroom.
This solved our problem!
I was initially nervous whether it would take the weight of two adults and it did!
Bought this with Signature 8" mattresses and they had many great nights sleep.
Wonderful! Make sure you follow the instructions from many reviewers...took around 2.5 hours to setup.
One thing to note... just be careful how much you pay for it.
We bought it at $177 ( great price!) and the next day saw it was selling for double!
Solid build, but instructions are poorly designed. Be VERY mindful of the final design when building. Several times I had to disassemble to turn a piece around.
Construction is good, for such a tall bed and from the pictures I expected to be wobbly but it's actually very solid. My daughter scampers up and down the ladder, and though the bed is pushed to the baseboards it doesn't bang the walls when climbed. Welds are solid, all connective hardware is pre-organized and labeled. Went together pretty well but plan on maybe twice as long as you'd think. I would definitely buy this one again, especially for the money.
tedious but fun to assemble (and I'm 68 and not very handy); took me 5 hours without help. these bunk beds are sturdy & attractive, and my grandkids love them.
So far the bunk beds have been nice. It took awhile for them to be put together. The ladder is alittle to straight, it would have been better for it to be at a tilt, for small kids to get up and down. It didn't notice the ladder much when I purchased it, I was focused on how much weight the beds would hold. The product seems like a good deal for the money.
Takes a long time to put together but once you do, its a nice, solid desk bed. Be careful not to over tighten the allan screws! I would recommend only with the build time disclaimer. Also, the ladder steps are a little thin and could use some padding but not req'd. Lastly, the top part of the bed framing that goes around the entire bed (to prevent form falling out) does not change on both sides where you climb up & into the bed. You can step up & over there but Im just letting you know there isnt a difference or opening, step slots or anything designed into that top part, whcih is 4 pieces.
