I have a 6ft 2 in teen ager who fits on the loft perfectly. I would suggest you bolt it to the wall though. We put another bed on the bottom on the floor. Works great!
Seems sturdy enough, my 6 year old is having trouble adjusting to it as she is afraid for some reason. The ladder rungs are pretty uncomfortable to climb but we bought some pool noodles after reading some other reviews. Hoping that helps the climb.
Clean lines, really great quality. Piece an entire side together before tightening any bolts, this should alleviate construction issues. My kids are very excited .
I bought this bed for my kiddo, since we are short on space and she was wanting her own bed. While I would have been able to put this together by myself, it was certainly easier to have someone else available with me to help when putting two partially-assembled pieces together. All of the parts were nicely labeled, and everything went right together in approximately an hour.
The bed itself seems pretty sturdy. I climb up to tuck in my daughter, and while the bed does move a little back and forth, it doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall over, or break apart at all. I wouldn’t recommend doing anything crazy, but for general use, it seems to work fantastically.
I did take off one star, simply because certain pieces of the railing do creak a little bit when you’re using them to assist in your climbing up/down the ladder, and as some people have pointed out already, the ladder rungs aren’t easy on the feet. Other than that, though, this is an excellent bed frame and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relatively inexpensive loft bed.

Only thing I didn't like was that there are no openings at the top of the bunk where the ladders are, so he has to climb over the rails to get onto the bed. Maybe not suitable for younger children but for seven years + it's a great bed. It took my boyfriend and I just about an hour to complete. Bed is a lot more sturdy than I imagined, especially for the price.
Assembled, it is quite sturdy. It took some extra time because a couple of the predrilled holes did not line up well to insert the bolts. But for looks, it is very good and should handle my two teenage grandsons on their visits.
Great bed item. My 16yr old was able to assemble on his own in less than an hour. We use this bed with anothe full mattress underneath for our two teens in their room.
