Very solid loft bed! My husband assembled it with just a little help from me at the end to hold larger parts while they're connected. I knocked one star off because two of the plastic caps atthe top of corner posts were cracked and broken. I had to contact the furniture company to get replacement caps, which they sent ASAP after I went through the hassle of figure out how to order them.
When I got the bed it was in two boxes and they were BEAT UP! Pieces torn off and taped back on, obviously crushed on the end. I questioned if I should even bother to open it or just send it back as damaged. I got into the boxes and everything was packaged so well that the damage to the boxes did not effect any of the pieces. Everything was included and in GREAT shape. It took us two hours to put together but the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. My daughter gladly slept on it last night. It is sturdy and makes no noise. This was a great purchase!
My teenage daughter and 8 year old daughter share a room. My teen was begging me to move her out or make her disappear. So I decided on this product that not only moved my 8 year up (which she loves) but it also created much more space in the room. My teen placed her bed right under, not parallel but perpendicular to the top bed. She is able to sit up from her bed and not hit her head on the bed above. She loves it. The frame is sturdy, I had my 238 lb nephew jump up to see if its okay. It really stood the test. It does not rock or squeak...but that might come with time. The ladder is not padded and can hurt a bit but its not that bad of a thing to not give 5 stars. Assembly took about 2 hours. That is with help. You do need two people to tackle it. If you do it alone you do have to work on the floor for leverage and pole placement. The longer side rails did take time to place. It was a very tight fit and it took some strength to pop it in place. Once that one was in, the second rail fit easier. All in all, it was as expected on assembly from other reviews. My girls are happy and it really is a solid full size loft that can totally support an adult if need be.
I love the look and the sturdiness of this bed. Unfortunately, when we were assembling it (it takes two people to assemble), there was a post that had holes in the wrong side. We had to drill through to connect the desk part to the correct side. But for the cost, this is a great bed frame.
Went together easy considering it is a build it yourself with instructions kit. Instructions were pretty good. Bed looks great us very sturdy and our 6yr old loves it
Easy to assemble. Very durable (per 8 children chaos)! Spacious underneath; I have a daybed and a toy chest under my daughters. I can see it growing with the kids.
I love that there are ladders on either end, so you don't have to worry about specific placement as much.
I use the bars to work out sometimes myself. Lol! Get it in where you can!
