Like:
1. a bit shorter than the IKEA one so I can sit up in bed
2. I can pretend I’m sleeping in a treehouse because I’m 36 years old and I do what I want
3. Extra floor space, weee!
4. It matches my aesthetic
5. Not terrible to assemble by ones self
Dislike:
1. Climbing the ladder barefoot is like stepping on a thousand Legos
2. My cats can’t get up there and are devastated, I had to carry them.
3. It kinda seems like some pieces that should’ve/could’ve been symmetrical, actually aren’t. This is a different vibe than ikea assembly instructions for sure.
4. I’m 110 pounds and it shakes slightly when I climb in/move. I tightened the screws and now I’m lying here trying not to think about it.
5. If I have someone over, we have to sleep under the bed.
That said, I’m in 350 square feet of space, the ikea model was too tall, my budget was $300, and I think this was a good call!
My daughter loves this bed, with one exception...the ladder. It is a bit inconvenient to use the way that it is attached to the frame. It would work better I'd the top of the bed frame had an opening where the ladder is, also don't care for the round tines. love the computer portion of the bed and the look of it!
If you've read of the difficulties some have experienced putting this together, expect the same for yourself. Otherwise, we've had it a year and still holds up fine. Not wobbly, no bent bars, etc.
My daughter LOVES her small room now! Not difficult to put together. Make sure you have plenty of ceiling height to turn it right side up when assembling. We didn’t, but figured it out. VERY sturdy!

it is very nice to help with decluttering a small room
What a puzzle it was to put together! On the positive side, it is very nice to help with decluttering a small room!
Great loft bed when used above a queen bed size!
Great deal!
Four Stars
