I bought this for my nephews and ended up using it as sofa and my personal bed for about 6 months. I researched a lot before making the purchase. This particular frame is the best choice for overall quality and cost benefit. It's sturdy and built to last, while maintaining a good price. The other feature I like is where the stairs a re located, on both sides instead of in the front. And also like the measurements of this bed. It fits well for me, better than others. I am a tall guy and I like the space I have between my head and the top bed when I'm sitting on the couch, even thou it's the smallest overall height of all the bunk beds.
If you are looking for a bunk bed that is a twin over a double sofa-bed, this is the perfect one to get. Trust me, I did a LOT of research.
It looks cool and my son loves it, but the ladder is painful on my feet, absolutely no idea why they would make a step so small. Looks like we will get a different one when he's older. But until then ouch for Dad!
Very happy with this loft bed. When we got it, the box was torn and styrofoam packing was broken and coming out. However, the pieces were all in great condition with no damage. The bed took two people a couple hours to put together but it went together easily. This bed fits great with our 7.5 ft ceilings. My 10 year old has room to sit up in bed without hitting the ceiling.

Great value, solid bed loft
The assembly was straight forward, while in the bed the stability is surprising. The bed rails are a bit high, but a very minor issue.
Good quality
Easy assembly. Took my husband and I am hour or so to assemble. It does squeak with movement but my 5 year old loves it and we are happy with it.

is the ladder removable and what is the hight from floor to bottom of the futon framing. I need to know what size mattress will fit.
