Cute but could be more durable

For what I paid for this I wish they were less wobbly. We bought two of them. They have a pretty high weight limit compared to other loft beds (500 pounds I think?) and as we are trying to fit 3 kids in 2 bedrooms I was hoping these would hold out until they were teenagers. I bought the optional desks. The desks definitely makes the beds sturdier but they still wobbles if I try to go up there to change their bedding. Also, one of the ladder rungs cracked when I stepped on it and now it moves if I step on it. For reference Im about 165 pounds I avoid stepping on it now. Its fine for my 40 pound daughter for now. The side rail is also floppy and moves back and forth. I also wish the ladder didnt stick out so far and was flush with the bed to reduce the foot print. If you have hardwood , make sure you put those furniture pads on the ladder legs, because the ladder will lift up and down and without a protective buffer will wear into your floors like it did for us. Overall, I wish I had gotten bunks. The kids do really like their lofts, but when theyre 15/16 years old I am worried Ill have to replace them. Between the mattresses, beds and desks, I think I paid like 1500 for this setup, and its not the highest quality. Great storage option.

    Bed

Nice to have a space under the bed. Desk and shelves are useful. Bed frame could be sturdier and a shelve corner was slightly damaged. This item is good! Satisfied.

    Not strudy

Nice bed, but it is not strudy. Rigged it to the wall with 2×4s and mental straps. Just what I needed.

    nice attractive and sturdy

My son bought this to replace an old bunk/bed. This is a nice bed and with it being bunk bed style, he has all of the room to use while his bed is up high. The paint does smell for a bit so when you put it together just give it a few days to air out otherwise worth the price and not hard to put together. Great price and somewhat durable.

    Pleasantly Supprised

No issues with condition when it arrived. Instructions are pretty good, but it did take two of us about 2.5 hours (with kids in the house). Bed is exactly what we wanted, and well be coming back for a desk in the near future. We had a couple of parts that the labels were reversed, but it was easy to identify. I wish the ladder was a bit sturdier so I could walk up it to tuck my daughter in, but all in all very happy. Looks nice and sturdy.

    Good buy

Overall a good buy. Nice bed for kids without breaking the bank. The assembly is easy, some parts easier with a helping hand due to length. Its nice to be made out of real wood but the downside was that some pieces of wood came with cracks. thanks great product.

    A great project purchase!

This purchase was a well done purchase. The delivery was great and timely. My little girl loved the outcome. When assembling, it was easy with the instruction manual but there was trouble identifying the hardware parts. Overall, it is a easy project to put together easy assemble, exactly as expected, space saver.

The best weight limit out there / Reinforce the 2 middle ladder steps

This had to be the only loft bed with a 400lb weight limit. Obviously my kids are nowhere near that but you add a mattress, two kids up there, or them just flopping around, having that weight limit is really reassuring. There were 2 things I wanted to point out. They dont do the best job of labeling the bolts. It took us a long time to be sure we were using the right ones. The second thing is the ladder. The top and bottom step have dowels and bolts keeping them in place. The center two steps only use dowels. Personally, I thought they really needed to be reinforced. I cant imagine them holding up. We bought some L/brackets to reinforce them. At this price point, I was MORE than happy to buy them. Someone mentioned the beds were wobbly. We tightened the bolts we could see a week after they started using them and check every now and then. With our beds, tightening fixed any wobbling. We bought the model with the bookshelf, so that may be adding to the stability. Looks solid, easy to assemble.
