Met my every expectation and then some

My husband assembled for our daughter by himself in one afternoon. He is handy, but not a genius at these things. He is very visual though, so the lack of verbal instruction makes this perfect for him. Delivery went well, and all parts were included in correct condition. I researched a ton of loft beds, and this manufacturer appears to sell under multiple brand names, but availability has been difficult. The biggest selling points for me were the weight rating for sturdiness, neutral color to work with other furniture (she is outgrowing white), and the height. This bed is the perfect height for 8ft ceilings if you want to really utilize the space below. I wanted the option to put her tall dresser below, at least partially, and still keep the ceiling fan. We did opt for a bunky board for added support, and I think that was a good move. Of course a tween arranges her room for minimal function and optimum weirdness, but she loves this bed, and there is no squeak like her old daybed. An unexpected bonus is how wide the rails are. She can keep a water bottle, a book, glasses, etc. close at hand. I am not being compensated in any way for this review, and Im blowing my own mind giving it 5 stars. I honestly dont know what more I could want. Im getting the low loft version for her 4yo sister. Good,

    Bought two!

Last year for Christmas, we bought this bed in grey for our son. We have been so happy with it, so this year we got it for our daughter in white. For the price, you really cant beat it! The quality is just as good as some of the beds we saw in showrooms for 4 times the price! This time, my husband and I built it together, but last year my husband was out of town for work and I was able to build it myself in half a day. It helps to have a power screwdriver for some of it, FYI. Also, you can put the shelves and/or the ladder on either end. We built the beds as mirror images of each other. It works great! Thank you!

This Bed is Aming! Kids/Young Adults

I was skeptical due to the weight limit being 400 when most beds have half that. The bed is perfect and really gives plenty of storage. Its best near the wall or with stablizers installed to keep the bed from rocking too much. The extra storage shelves are great for holding anything you can think of. Simple and does the job.

    Sturdy, functional, and cozy!

We used this with a crib underneath first, and have graduated to a big bed. It fits a queen mattress underneath perfectly! Our boys absolutely love it. It looks great and is so far very sturdy. Highly recommend! Absolutely recommend!

    Great loft bed for kids

We got this bed for our 9 year old daughter for Christmas and it was perfect! She absolutely loves it. Great wood quality, easy instructions to follow, and very sturdy. We have searched around for multiple loft beds and came across this one and loved the look and the option to add a desk. The price was also great. Our daughter is happy so we are very happy with this purchase. Built strong.

    Satisfied

Overall we are pretty satisfied with this bed for our 8 year old. We previously had a twin over full bunk bed with stairs that was incredible sturdy so this one is a bit more wobbly. The ladder steps are definitely only for children/some steps are only held with pegs and not screws as well. The hardest part was the instructions. The majority of the hardware is not labeled so it took extra time figuring everything out. Myself and my boyfriend built this in less than 2 hours. I didnt care for the desk option on this piece so I purchased a different desk to fit under there. The shelves hold all of her scrap booking supplies and a few toys nicely. The shelves are very sturdy. Arrived early!

    Daughter Loves It

My 5.5 yr old loves it, so thats what matters most. Weve only had it a week, so only time will tell if it stands up to the test of time. This was a long/term investment for us, so Im curious to see if it was made to last. Delivery came as expected via a Ryder moving truck. Driver was polite and courteous a brought box into our home at our request. MAN, was it heavy, good thing we have tiled floors, so we just pushed it to the bedroom. Unpacking we noticed everything was neat and tidy and for the most part, all labeled hardware was put in their own small box. As for assembly, it took us roughly 3 hours for me and my husband to put together. I mostly directed, while he did the building. Instructions were semi/easy to follow. Its all diagrams youre trying to follow in a stapled 40 page packet. We made a couple of mistakes along the way as we were confused those times, but overall a good experience. Bed looks nice, and has plenty of room for under bed storage and play area. Love it.

    Ups and downs.

Lets start from the beginning. Took about a week and a half from the time I ordered this bed to it being delivered. The box was hella heavy guys. Not even kidding. The spouse and I were struggling to get this up the stairs. Wound up cutting the box open and moving the pieces a few at a time. They were all intact with no damage. The item itself is pretty good for the price we paid. I do have some issues. We bought the white version and the paint is very thin. I think it was just quickly airbrushed, and not very evenly overall. I already had an incident where the ladder got knocked as I was putting it on, and the paint scrapped clear off a part of the upper frame where it sits. I can tell touching up the paint is going to become a thing. Also the directions are not the best. If youve ever assemble furniture, theyre on par, but perhaps slightly worse as none of the hardware is labeled and youre gonna spend half the time trying to figure out if youve got the right screws. I think I spent an hour just looking back and forth between the screws part list and the current instructions. Overall, took me about 4 hours by myself, and my kid is ecstatic. Great value. Very sturdy.

    Just ok

The boards for the shelves came damaged. We got this for the phase my daughter is in now. Would not be good quality enough to last her for a decade. Quality could be improved.
