Dangerous! This piece of furniture is poorly made with terrible materials. The edges and corners are super sharp and one cut my shin ! I tried returning - but we have to pay for the return shipment — of course the thing must weigh 300 lbs! Save your money and your shins!
We've had this bed frame for four years now. It looks nice, is relatively cheap, and is pretty simple to assemble. At first I was satisfied, but as we've used it over the years we've noticed that slats just seem to fall out from underneath the bed when lying down. The reason is that some slats were cut too small. It is very aggravating when my partner is asleep and then I come into the bed just to have a slat fall out and make a loud noise on our hardwood floor. It wakes him up of course and makes it harder for both of us to get to sleep.
After having to cancel an order that we had for a bed and frame from a well known company--we were left sleeping on the floor atop our old mattress. Happy campers we were not!! After investigating these wooden bed frames we decided to give this one a try. I cant thank this company enough---the frame was delivered very quickly--two different shipments--we put it together fairly quickly and were ecstatic with the results. Even our old mattress seemed to lay so much better on top of this frame. We have been loving this frame for several weeks now. When and if I get to purchase a new mattress I'm sure it would be all the better. The only thing I wish is that it could have been a few inches higher off the floor--but then if you were to buy a higher mattress that would solve that issue. All I can say is that this frame seems to be durable, easy to put together and was a God send for us. The company was very quick to respond to a question that I had--which would make them reliable to deal with. If you are looking for a wood bed frame be sure to put this one on your list. We are finally off the floor and so very thankful to this company
When I bought this, I wasn't sure it would be as advertised. When it was delivered in 2 heavy boxes, I thought I had made a mistake in buying it. Well, we unpacked it and all the pieces were there. It's pine but it's nicely finished with a sealer on it. The 4 exterior pieces snap right together. Once you realize how to build the interior support pieces, you're done in less than 15 minutes. I'd buy it again if I needed another one.
Just as an add-on: if you're into toy trains like I am, the way this unit is built would make a GREAT base for creating a layout. It's the size of a King bed so several joined together would create a lot of surface to run the trains as well as scenery. Hint manufacturer?
I ordered the last white washed version of this bed frame and what I got was the grey one. The box said white washed on it, but the bed frame inside was not white washed. The cost for shipping to return it was exorbitant and since I got the last one there was nothing to exchange it with. Luckily this is a bed frame Ill only be using for a year until I save up enough to by the bed I want, so I can live with it. The directions were minimal (think IKEA), but I was able to figure it out fairly quickly. Two of the metal corner pieces used to put the bed together were bent and I had to bend them back with pliers before I could get them to work as described. Ive only had the bed set up for a few days and so far havent had the support beam cracking that others have reported, but it is a bit wobbly without the mattress. If the right color had been sent I would probably be giving this frame more stars. (The first image in this review is a screenshot as the bed was displayed here on . The last 2 images are of the color I received—even the inside was painted grey but not finished.)
The frame arrived quickly and was put together in minutes. It's very sturdy and looks great. And the company sent a nice follow up letter after the purchase.

Went together easy. I kept my box spring under my mattress for stability. Zero issues and looks great.

slats are too loose
