I managed to put the bed together by myself. I leaned one side against a chest of drawers and got little tables to support the back and bedrails level when I attached the other side. Unfortunately, though the slats had screw holes, the bed rails did not. I contacted the company and was informed I would have to make the holes. That does not seem correct. The directions had the illustrations but no written instructions. I had to download the instructions from (thank you, ). I did figure it out but there was no explanation for where the wood bolts were to be used. There are (I think) 12 slats which makes the mattress quite secure (except that the slats arent screwed in) which is a plus. Weight capacity is unclear to me since several different web sites gave different weight (anywhere from 250 pounds to 400 pounds). Because of the missing screw holes for the slats and the incomplete directions, Ive given the bed 4 stars. Nice bed, I do like it and am glad I got it.
no dislikes just takes a little thought while you put together ! open boxes in an open area away from where unit will sit and build it in place !! Pay attention to the steps !! looks and operates fine !! grandkids love it !!
Bought this for a spare room and additional sleeping room for guests and grandchildren. It was easy to put together, it is very comfortable, and I love the look. I am very happy with my purchase. I would recommend this product to others. I purchased Linespa mattresses for it. I recommend using a twin xl for the top and a twin for the trundle.
This was a great investment. I would definitely recommend. I purchased for my spare bedroom for when my Granddaughters come over or I have guest.The bed came packed in three different packages but all arrived at the same time. It is very sturdy and easy to put together. My brother came over and helped me put it together, it took about 2 hours and 15 minutes. The parts are large there are not alot of small pieces like some other furniture I have bought. The price was just right for us. Forgot to mention my extra room is not so large so it fit perfect gives me extra space.
My Granddaughters came over and used it already and were very impressed. Totally recommend
The bed looks nice once put together. Theres no knobs for the drawer, so we had to install our own to make it a little easier. The directions were very difficult to read, which is the biggest pain point. Also the slats for the bed were unable to be screwed in with the provided screws based on the predrilled holes. We will have to buy different screws possibly a little longer and wider in order for them to be screwed in. Also one of the bolts or the bolt nut, one or the other wasnt threaded properly and we will have to buy a separate one. Wouldve been nice to include extras for issues like this. Some of the boards were damaged and had a few scuffs on them, but luckily they are out of site.
I love the bed! It is well made and sturdy. I will probably use 2 bolster pillows to take up the space between the mattress and sides. It says its a twin but actually is a twin XL.
This bed is gorgeous. Im not sure about the ease of assembly because I paid a handyman to put it together for me. But I can attest to how sturdy and beautiful the bed is!! So very happy with this purchase!
Im not sure when the backboard cracked but weve only had this bed 4 months and there are two bad cracks in the backboard and now because its past the 30 days I guess Im stuck with it

Broken pieces in 5 months time
Its a pretty bed but the wooden pieces that hold the wooden slats to the bed frame have broken and weve only had the bed for 5 months.

Backboard broke after less than four months
