Kids love this new bed and it freed up a ton of room in their space. Very sturdy and well made. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a normal sized bunk bed.
Super sturdy construction! We bought this for our 3 year old now that hes growing out of his toddler bed. This looks to last until hes at the end of high schoolunless he grows out of this before he is 18! Nice honey colorit did off gas a bit, but we just kept the window cracked during the daytime for 3 days and now there is no odor at all ( Im very sensitive to smells, my parents didnt notice it at all and my husband barely did). We got some nice foam mattresses for both the top and bottom beds and they work perfectly. 8 inch on the bottom and 6 inch on the top leaves plenty of head room on the bottom bunk and a very safe railing up top. I would certainly buy this again and give it 5 stars! Looks great and is of a nice solid quality wood. Shipping was faster than expected.
Wow this is a big bed and it takes up a lot of room. but it also creates a lot of storage and makes children very happy. If your space is tight and this will replace several pieces of furniture. It takes two people to put this together mostly because of the size.
This bed comes with railing completely around the top bunk which helps to prevent the child from falling. This was important to us as the child on the top does tend to sleep on the edge of the bed. Now she sleeps more in toward the center but often she is up against the railing and we are grateful to have it there. The steps are big and the drawers are same size as the step and provide ample storage. There is a book nook under the steps and the lower bed is high enough from the ground that you also have storage room under the bed.
The bed wasnt overly complicated to assemble. It arrived within a few days in three boxes. There are a LOT of pieces. The instructions could have been clearer but you just had to stop and think about what you were doing. If you rush through putting this together you will make a mistake. But take your time and read the directions. Otherwise, the bed wasnt too difficult. It came with everything you need to put it together except the tools.
This bed IS solid wood and extremely sturdy. The only concern is the slats seem rather thin and a few did have knots in them. But our children are both under 50 pounds, so we arent concerned yet, besides there are so many slats that Im not worried.
The children love this bed. They think the drawers are awesome. The steps stretch the imagination as they transition from the stage to a mountain side to tree limbs and many other things. This bed set is pretty awesome. The kids love it and the adults are very happy with these beds.
Overall this is a valued purchase. If I had a chance to choose again this would still be the bed set that we would purchases.

The bunk bed is well made. The only down fall are the instructions. If some of the stickers with the numbers fall off it can be a bit confusing on putting together. Other than that its great!

Not as much height between the bottom and top bunks, so watch your head. Other reviews for this product in other finishes said that the slats werent too great, but ours were fine. Drawers are easy to open and close and are a decent size. We used 8 mattresses, and I wouldnt go much thicker than that. Theres plenty of rail to keep little ones safe in the top bunk. Very pleased with this purchase!
Tips: Use an electric screw driver to cut down on assembly time and effort. Everything can really be done by one person if necessary *except* putting the top bunk on. Read ahead a few steps to be sure youre not putting pieces on backward. Do not attempt to nail the backs of the drawers on while anyone is napping. The quality of the wood means the banging gets *loud.*

The directions were pretty straightforward, all though I definitely recommend having help while putting these together. It took me approximately 8 hours to get these built by myself. I was pleasantly surprised by the drawer space as well - the three drawers are deep and generous. And solidly made. I cant recommend this enough. My kids are thrilled.

Beautiful piece! Some pieces were scratched and some screws did not fit right. We had to modify but nothing major. Caveat for owners of light haired dogs! We constantly have to dust our chihuahas white hair because it shows up so easily! I hadnt thought about that!
This bed is amazing. The family loves it! Very sturdy, solid wood. Beautiful! Well worth the price. Would highly recommend! Takes some time to put together, however well worth it.
