Great quality. Arrived quickly. Looks nice. Instructions are easy to follow. Lots of height between the top bunk and an 8 ceiling. Not as much height between the bottom and top bunks, so watch your head. Other reviews for this product in other finishes said that the slats werent too great, but ours were fine. Drawers are easy to open and close and are a decent size. We used 8 mattresses, and I wouldnt go much thicker than that. Theres plenty of rail to keep little ones safe in the top bunk. Very pleased with this purchase!
Tips: Use an electric screw driver to cut down on assembly time and effort. Everything can really be done by one person if necessary *except* putting the top bunk on. Read ahead a few steps to be sure youre not putting pieces on backward. Do not attempt to nail the backs of the drawers on while anyone is napping. The quality of the wood means the banging gets *loud.*
