Came fast, strong double box packaging, all solid pine, good instructions, precision pre-drilled holes, relatively straightforward assembly. A very high quality product, not from China, from Brazil. Takes time to assemble, two people helps. No extra hardware or wooden pins, so dont lose any. By far the worst feature is the wing nuts. Very difficult and frustrating to get machine bolts started in these nuts. If I had to do it again I would buy different machine nuts. (the wing nut sits in a pre-drilled hole and you cannot see when the threads are lined up). Very strong when finished, 14 slats per bed!! All pieces have shaped and sanded corners and edges. All pieces are numbered. Upper bed has unique central support for slats making it especially strong. One tip, when installing the side panels on the upper bed make sure the holes for the short vertical brace in the middle are ON THE OUTSIDE. (If manufacturer reads this: great product - buy better machine nuts - like ).

Took about 3 hours with my husband putting it together. Not difficult at all with a drill to make it faster. Gorgeous wood, very sturdy and our girls absolutely love it. Highly recommended.
I opened the boxes and I was overwhelmed by the smell of freshly cut trees (Made in Brazil). Fragile wood and the surface scratches easily. A lot of pieces but easy to assemble.
This is a sturdy and attractive bunk bed. And it totally thrilled my 6 and 4 year olds for Christmas Four stars instead of five because it took three construction-savvy guys about 5 hours to build this thing, and also because after two weeks of bare feet stepping up and down, the finish is already chipping off of the bottom step. I have to think it mustve gotten bumped by something else to be chipping like that so soon But other than that, it is a very safe bunk bed that fits just right in our limited square footage. Extra bonus I didnt realize when I ordered it is that each step has a grip strip to add footing security for little ones. One last thought is to keep in mind that the bottom drawer will only open if the bed is situated on a smooth floor, not on a rug or carpet with even a medium pile.
Awesome bunk bed for the price! The pics do not do the bed justice and do not show the non slip strips on the steps. Both of our kids love the bed. It is a great addition in their room. Lots of storage in the stairs and tall enough to fit bins under the bed. Very well constructed and instructions made putting the bed together painless! Would purchase again in a heartbeat and would HIGHLY recommend!

My daughter loves it. Only issue was that one of the nuts came not correct so one screw stayed loose. We had to use a replacement that we found.
