Delivered on the first day of the delivery window in 5 huge, heavy boxes. My husband was able to carry them upstairs and it took him about 4-5 hours to put the bed together. The wood smells nice and every slat is painted well. The stairs are higher than we thought, so our 4-year-old grandson might have a hard time climbing them. We still like them better than a ladder on the side of the bed, though. Also, the standard 8-inch twin mattress fits too snugly in the trundle, so it doesnt open and close easily.
The bed is well built and easy to put together. The directons were easy to follow ,with plenty of pics. They came on time and packed nicely. We got the pine, should have gotten the hardwood for the extra money. The pine dents and scratches easy. There were three damaged pieces, they replaced without a problem. The stain color was way, way lighter than the set that came. It wasnt a game changer, but thats why we give them 4 stars.

It will make.it easier for.my kids to share rooms when they come of age and to have a friend be able to stay the night. Took my hubby and brother 5 hrs to assemble the whole thing and thats with a few breaks. Easy to follow instructions, boxes are labeled as to which peice it is and the wood is numbered making it easy to follow instructions. Really great buy.
This is a sturdy piece of furniture. Our toddlers love this bunk bed. The storage in the steps is very spacious. The non slip strip on the steps makes for safer travel up and down. We have had this bed for a little over a month now and we have no complaints. We have a 2 year old and a 4 year old and have had no accidents so far, yay! It did take my husband about 4 hours to assemble, but it might be quicker if 2 people worked on it continuously (9 months pregnant with baby 3 meant not much help from mommy). I was little leary of buying, because of some reviews saying the bed wasnt sturdy, but our bed isnt going anywhere, its rock solid.
An excellent piece of furniture- very sturdy and well designed. Assembly took a little while, but very doable. Only issue would be that assembly instructions could have been a little clearer. I recommend this product.
They look great and are very sturdy. I love the height between the lower and upper beds. As an adult I can sit normally and not crouch like so many other bunk beds. My grandchildren will be able to use these beds straight through their teenage years.
