Dont get me wrong, this is beautiful but its an ABSOLUTE PAIN to put together!!!!! All the balls in each corner at the top have cracked the same night it was put together. The tools Are just thrown in a bag altogether and not separated. Theres is about 10 different tools used for this bed. For your own SANITY I highly recommend separating them and putting them in little bowls and labeling A,B,C And so forth. Otherwise you will lose your mind! It took My husband and I an hour alone to put the metal slats together. If you put a box spring under your mattress it WILL completely cover the headboard area(which honestly does not look bad)
It seems pretty sturdy as my daughter has slept in it a week. Is it worth what I paid? Yes. This is a 2 person assembly no doubt about it, 3 if you want to go faster. I hope this info helps the next buyer.
BTW DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN WHILE PUTTING THE RAILS TOGETHER OR YOU WILL BE WORKING ON IT FOR AN HOUR LIKE WE DID! TIGHTEN AT THE END!
I needed to move my three year old daughter into her own bed from our co-sleeping situation. She wanted a princess bed. I chose this canopy bed because I liked the fact that it was a simple frame with no side ornamental pieces to get in the way of a safety bumper and for ease of changing the sheets. I put it together by myself. The directions are great!!!! and very clear. Would be much faster and easier with two people of course. Super sturdy once together. Pure magic with all the other items like the canopy to tie it together. Arrived in about 5 days. great!!!! new condition and no problems!
The bed was easy to put together, issue is there are no attachment holes or screws for the canopy part to the bed, as well as the mid way up pool.
The canopy is 2 polls all 4 sides and there is no way to hold them together, they just slide into one another, there hasnt been issues with it falling apart, but if you move the bed at all it has to be from the bottom of the bed or it will just life off.
Other than the stability it was a good!!!! buy, size fit as posted and with the bed on it it will hold me and my daughter if i get on the bed with her and Im 300lbs.

I used 3 nylon cable ties to stabilize each pole.
When my poles arrived , one was crushed a little
on the end fitting. I used a small screwdriver and bent pryed the opening to be to insert a connecting pole.
Some of the pieces came dinged up a bit, but not too horrible. Most I was able to do myself, other than connecting the platform part. Also didnt like that the hardware was tossed into a couple of bags mixed up, just had to look at the hardware key in the instructions and sort them first. It looks great!!!! finished.
