Legs were damaged and had small chunks of wood missing. The one cushion had a small hole in it but it wasnt present to the eye once together. The couch was easy to put together. Some of the wood on the sides of the couch seem weak, so be careful when moving it. I do not recommend pushing it, but rather lift it.
Firm but not much structural support. I had mine reinforced with 4x4s. The customs are firm which is ok with me. It took 3 of us to put it together in about 45 min.
Nice couch. Unfortunately one of the cushions have a rip between the stitching so we cannot sit on that cushion. Would like a refund or new cushion mailed to me
Really love the look of this sofa, and Im glad I purchased it. I bought it despite the lower reviews because the look of it was exactly what I wanted. Assembly was relatively easy. Unlike the other reviews, my cushions werent harmed from being packaged inside the frame. It assembles smaller than I anticipated from the dimensions on ...which is fine, for me.
The back should definitely be against the wall, I could see it wearing out quickly without the added support back there. The bottom cushions are pretty firm, but they wear in. I also enjoy the level of firmness. The back cushions are super soft! Like pillows, so comfy. It came with 2 decorative pillows! I didnt know that and was pleasantly surprised. Its the smaller, patterned ones in the picture.
Downsides:
1. Its a shallow sofa...wonderful for a smaller apartment, but someone with long legs/thighs might run into trouble.
2. It comes in two HUGE boxes that weigh a LOT (plus a third with the ottoman, which isnt that heavy). I had to get them up a flight of stairs and me and my helper were STRUGGLING. Im an averaged sized woman and wasnt sure if I was going to be able to do it... but I pulled through lol
