For those of you looking for fine hard-wood furniture, this is not it. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product and it was fairly simple to put together. The price and functionality are the best selling points, and Ive been pleased with the increase in storage in our bedroom. We live in a small bungalow-style home with small bedrooms. Try putting a king-sized bed in a small room and you quickly run out of room for a dresser. Now my clothes are easily accessed and our closet doesnt feel so cramped. The clean lines of this bed are great as they dont compete with the look of the bedspread and drapery headboard treatment that are the focus of our room. The espresso finish is also nice. I do find that we frequently stub our toes on the corner of the bed, but this probably has more to do with our small bedroom than the bed itself.

First, I really do love this bed frame. The design is beautiful, its a sturdy platform, and its a really efficient use of space. I love the drawers. Its the perfect bed if you want to put a big bed in a small room. Having said that, please be warned that it comes in over a hundred pieces and it took my husband about eight hours to assemble with breaks for cursing and drinking. If youre handy and you dont mind a challenge, its a great bed for the price. If you dont know what a stabilizer is, you might want to keep shopping.
