The bed looks very nice, it has spacious drawers. Great so far, but after putting it together you realize that its quite flimsy, the veneer chipped within weeks of purchase. The drawers dont close properly. You get what you pay for.
I chose this item because of the price, color, and size. I assembled this bed thinking that it would be money wasted and end up being fragile, but Im glad I didnt let my objective side influence me. The bed is surprisingly sturdy considering its assembly style (its much the same as Wal-mart end tables and entertainment stand made out of wood.) Storage is an added bonus, and will be used frequently.
I almost forgot to mention the most important partIm a male that weighs roughly 200 pounds. While Im not willing to jump on the bed, I do believe that just sleeping on it wont cause it to break.

Obvisiously the make up of this frame is composite, so its not the best quality. However, 2 years later it still looks great, drawers still function properly, and the frame itself has held up well with my memory foam mattress. For the money, I think its worth it.
I purchased this frame since we recently bought a new king memory foam mattress. Packages arrived intact with no scratches or dents. HEAVY! If you have a small room it might be tight to assemble. Instructions were straight forward and to the point, I had the basic frame built in 45 minutes. Be careful screwing down the T-Spacers because the plastic can crackother than that it assembled fairly easy.
Once assembled the bed feels sturdy. Looks high end if you include the headboard.
So far I am happy with my purchase. Only time will tell if it holds up if you know what I am saying ; )
This bed is great for a smaller room because it isnt much bigger than the mattress itself. It was easy to put together and took me (Im by no means construction savvy) about 3.5 hours. I definitely suggest investing in an electric screwdriver, it saved me a lot of time. Additionally if youre construction illiterate, there is a website to help you in the instructions.
The drawers are a good size, I fit about 9 pairs of heels in one of them and 6 sweatshirts in another thus far. Id definitely recommend this purchase.
I bought this bed for my 10 year old son. It was just what I wanted. It was very easy to assemble ( I did it myself), and the directions were very clear. I love the six drawers underneath. It makes for plenty of space, although, I wouldnt put anything too heavy in there. The only complaint that I have is that this bed isnt the highest of quality, but for the price, I didnt expect it to be. I didnt buy the bookcase headboard because I thought it would make the bed stick out too far. Instead I bought a flat headboard from walmart. It finishes the look without taking extra space. All in all, I am extremely happy with my purchase.
purchased one queen size storage platform kit to see how good, or bad it would be. for the money i was willing to experiment. to my delight this piece of furniture was a breeze to put together. yes, there are a million screws but a screw gun makes short work of them. a brad nailer is handy for the drawers but not essential. the machining was precise and the instructions are easy to follow with accurate pictures of what you are suppose to do. my wife and i liked this kit so much we bought three more! the instructions say 5 mins for this or 10 mins for that. forget it. the assembly is not a speed test. im 61 years old and fairly handy but an extra person for the final step is very helpful. friends that have seen these bed frames cant believe the quality for the cost involved. i highly recommend this product.
I purchased this bed for my 14 year old, who is in high school. He love s the bed and says that he appreciate the drawers. When I seen this I thought it would be great to purchase this to work with the space we have in our apartment.
So the good first. This bed looks good. It assembles relatively easily (maybe 1.5-2hrs). But I guess most importantly it looks really nice.
The bad. the supports for the vertical base boards are not very sturdy making it rather difficult to move the assembled bed without potentially tearing some of the screws out of the cross beam. Our solution to that is to not lift the bed but slide itAnother negative is that not all the drawers close flush with the bed. of the 6 drawers 4 close flush. But that is not a big deal to me.
Aside from that one negative my fiance and I really like the bed. It looks sturdy and is very aesthetically pleasing. Weve had many compliments on the bed and people are shocked at how much (or how little) it cost
