This is an excellent bed for the price you pay, certainly not heriloom quality of course, but a sturdy bed. The drawers slide VERY nicely. Great color and when it is together and all the bedding is on you cant even tell that it is pressed wood. Easy to follow directions and easy to put together (got a book shelf that was harder to assemble!). Everyone that has seen it loves it, getting another one for the guest bedroom.
Putting this bed together was a back breaker! I used an electric drill, just as suggested and had to switch to a screwdriver and still had problems with the hardware stripping. I had to order the extra parts because of this and parts that were left out, and I didnt receive that for 10 days. I love the functionality of this bed, and its very sturdy. The only thing we dont like is we cant use the drawer near the head of the bed because of our night stands. Other than that we say we love our bed almost every night!
A bed frame is a serious enough piece of furniture that it has to take a long time to put together. It just does. Especially if you are carpentry-inept like I am. BUT. I got it together pretty easily, with just little ol me, several hours on a sunday, and a few beers.
Cons: Three huge, heavy boxes arrived. I couldnt figure out which box had the instructions in them, so it was difficult in my tiny apartment to plan for setup. Ended up waiting to begin until company could email me a PDF of the instructions.
Pros: Company was very nice and very prompt with emailing me PDF instructions. Instructions were clear and very helpful. Pieces were easy to use and easy to put together. All of the pieces were there!
AND, its a perfect bed frame for a small space, for those who need a slim frame with added storage.

To help make it go easier and faster, we bought a 18amp power drill. 18amp holds a charge longer and gives that extra power for the screws. Saves on the hands and shoulders. You do need an extra pair of hands for some of the assembly just to help align things up and hold the screws in place as the braces are aligned.
It comes with braces and good support. I have had a platform for over 15 years and this was the best one as far as support and the slats. I only had one drawer that did not align and that was only after we moved the bed into position. So we had to tweek things a bit.
The only down side I see is the drawer bottoms. They are thin pressboard and could use some cross bracing if you put in heavy items. There is room to put cross bracing, or I could even get thin plywood bottoms and cut them to size.
I am really pleased overall with the bed. The price was the lowest and free shipping!

If there is one complaint and it really isnt a complaint. It would be that the pieces werent labeled and that made the assembly process more difficult. But, it was fairly clear cut from every other process.
All in all, I am 100% happ.
This bed was not a bad buy for what you pay for it. Of course, its made of MDF(particle board) so I wasnt expecting a spectacular piece of furniture. It looks nice and the storage option is a big plus. Just make sure that you assemble it fully in the place where you are going to use it as it is NOT easily mobile. Since it is just a screwed together frame that sits on the floor it will become off-center if you move it and drawers will not operate properly. It may not be the highest quality piece of furniture, but after sleeping on a wooden futon frame for a few years, I wouldnt trade it.
I love the bed. I wont say it was a breeze to assemble -it took three 2-hour sessions of fairly arduous work, with long restorative breaks in between. But, all the parts were included and the instructions were clearly rendered. I regret that I did not glue the joints as I assembled the bed since I perceive that the bed may not be able to stand up well to vigorous and long-term wear. Since I am using it in a spare, guest bedroom, I think for the price, it is perfect. The drawers are a great feature and the bed is quite handsome in the room.
I love the look of the bed frame. It matches the decor in my bedroom. However, it is cheap wood and I broke it the very first night. I now have to have it fixed.
