Very well made and attractive storage bench. The inside space is more shallow than you would think, but will still hold a fair amount. I got a dozen pairs of shoes into it when I turned them on their sides.
I like almost everything about this bench; except when you slide the baskets in and out the basket material sheds leading to clean up and eventually replacing the baskets.
I needed a storage bench at the foot of my bed. My requirements were: 1. comfortable for sitting, 2. match my decor, 3. large storage capacity for out of season blankets/This bench exceeded all my expectations! Now nice to have a comfortable, stylish bench for putting on shoes, while it attractively conceals my winter bedding.
It is really pretty and the top has a nice closing mechanism. Not sure that its very strong for adults to sit on, but time will tell. Seems well constructed except for that.
