    Love it

Love this bed. We bought 2 different loft beds of , and I would have to say even though this one was a little more money, it is definitely obvious that the little extra price was worth it. More sturdy and an opening for her to get up through making getting in ad out so much easier. ALL GOOD!

You WILL need a rubber mallet, and if you arent tall, changing this is a REAL c hallenge.

Youll need a rubber mallet to smack things into place. We had all the pieces needed and it eventually went together okay, but you WILL need a rubber mallet to get some of the parts fully together. Follow the directions, dont tighten anything until the very end, and as long as the pieces go where they ought to youll be okay. Downsides.besides the assembly. Its a little TOO tall, and at 52 and 58 were going to have to use a stepladder to c hange the sheets. If you arent tall and your kid isnt old enough to climb up and help change sheets, its a bad choice. Were going to have to move it away from the wall just so we can get sheets on. Ladder steps are narrow for an adult but work just fine for our five/year/old and we dont have much in the way of complaints except for the putting/it/together problems and the difficulty in changing sheets. This isnt minor/annoyance level of difficulty, its holy/hell/Im/going/to/have/to/crawl/up/there levels of difficulty. Changing a bed with low clearance while youre ON it is no fun at all. If we had to do this over again, wed get one about 6 inches shorter or with wider spacing between slats so we could change it with less headache. If you arent tall and dont have a rubber mallet handy, Id skip this for another bed. Lovely for the price

    Very pleased with this purchase

Alot more space underneath than I thought! My 8 yr old loves it. My husband and I put it together in just over an hour. 1 screw hole was not cut all the way and we had to try and. Real a tiny metal peice off to get the screw in, but we were able to without much effort. Pretty sturdy bed. Only thing I dont like is how thin the ladder steps are. A little unpleasant walking up them, so we plan on cutting some pool noodles to place around them. Fast shipping, right on time. Would purchase this product again. Absolutely awesome product!!

    Perfect for a young child/teen

I like this bed for the price and my daughter loves it but it was a pain to assemble and the holes did not match up. Some of the bolts ended up stripping or wouldnt screw in all the way because they didnt line up with the precut holes they had in the metal beams. Had to replace some of these bolts before use. You definitely get what you pay for with this bed. Otherwise, its cute and if you can get it together and bolted correctly, its sturdy enough for a child. My 7 year old is over the moon about it, which is all that matters to me. highly disappointed!!!

Nice loft bed for an 11 y/o. Easy to put together by myself.

So reading the other reviews and reading the instructions all the way through first helps a lot. I put this bed together by myself in about less than 2 hours. The other reviews and the instructions both point out DO NOT TIGHTEN BOLTS TILL ITS ALL TOGETHER. And thats true! I put it together by myself with it laying down first, keeping about a 1/4 slack with every bolt. When it was time to put the mattress slats on, I grabbed the back bar and the front bar and lifted it up. Im 56 and have fairly strong upper body strength (carried the box from the UPS truck on my shoulder because I was tired of seeing the driver sliding it across the floor banging into everything in the back of his truck) and it was wobbly. So I put the slats in, locked them in place with the plastic tabs in the kit, and then tightened every bolt finger tight. Went back through with a hex key socket and ratchet and tightened them up further. NOT TOO TIGHT! We are using an 8 memory foam mattress that we picked up from walmart that was in a box. Opened box and bag up, let sit for 6 hrs and it was at full thickness. Not too thick for this bed frame that my 11 y/o will roll over the rails. Figured Ill keep updating this as the year goes on. No squeaks, not wobbly, very well made. Next week I was planning on taking each bolt out at a time and adding blue lock/tite to each one and putting it back in tight to keep anything from shaking loose but I might not have too. Will be using either pool noodle or foam pipe insulation on the ladder. Pics will be up soon when hes not actually sleeping in it. Really Happy!!

    Sturdy and easy to assemble.

The bed was very easy to assemble. I did it alone, and it took me about 2 hours. One suggestion, dont tighten ther screws. Once its fully assembled, use loctite glue and tighten everything completely. I would definitely recommend this loft bed. Great find!!
