Alot more space underneath than I thought! My 8 yr old loves it. My husband and I put it together in just over an hour. 1 screw hole was not cut all the way and we had to try and. Real a tiny metal peice off to get the screw in, but we were able to without much effort. Pretty sturdy bed.
Only thing I dont like is how thin the ladder steps are. A little unpleasant walking up them, so we plan on cutting some pool noodles to place around them.
