My daughter loves this bed, its very sturdy I was prepared to chain it to the wall. I put it against thle wall and asked if the metal stairs hurt her feet ready to get a pool floaty thing like in the other comments but she said no,I put the side pieces together by myself (Im a single mom) there was no way I was going to get it all together alone .I had to call for backup) Functional design
Very sturdy allows for ton of storage underneath. It is not a true white color. The color is more eggshell it is not white white like the IKEA bookcase underneath. I like this one.
My daughter absolutely loves this bed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the guard rails arent high enough for my comfort. I was scared she would roll off. So, I bought a higher rail to add to it. The steps are a little hard on the feet as well, but I cut up a pool noodle to go around them and now theyre pretty comfortable to walk up. Very cute, looks just like the pictures.
Although I trust the bed wont fall a apart, it feels very unsturdy when getting in and out of bed as well as when rolling over. Its also super squeaky. On the upside, it gets my bed off the floor and makes a ton of space in my chicago micro studio apartment. Its not bad its just not great.
I was bummed bc the white is NOT white as advirtised, it is cream ! There is not even a cream option to choose from. I bought WHITE dressers for my son prior to the bed arriving bc white metal is just white metal right . Nope anywho, took me 4 hrs to assemble alone, but im super strong chic who lifts. i almost wasnt able to assemble it.
Other than that, my son loves it. It doesnt look bad. just really irritated about the color for a boys room. They need to fix their advirtising !!Style and purpose
I ordered this bed for my son after we were given the wrong bed at that one giant, Swedish store.
Anyway, it was ordered and delivered within 4 days by 2 wonderful delivery men who even brought it into my foyer for me. It is a giant and awkward box. Not overly heavy, but no way I could have drug it into the house on my own.
As far as the bed goes. It is fine for the money spent. It isnt super high quality but it isnt cheaply made, either. It took about 2 hours to fully assemble and the instructions were clear. One VERY IMPORTANT NOTE/ do NOT tighten screws completely until the bed is fully assembled. If you fully tighten the screws before you finish assembling, the pieces will not align correctly, making it impossible to assemble. I saw numerous other reviews mentioning this as well.
Other than that, great deal for the money. My 9 year old is super happy. Decent for the price

It was exactly what we thought it would be. Love it. Just as pictured very happy with my purchase.
