Works pretty good, and is adjustable. Only problem is, if you dont know how big the grounds you want are supposed to be, there is no setting. For example, if you dont know how coarse, coarse ground is supposed to be, then youre just guessing.
Grinding my beans in the early AM
of this bean grinder, Im not a fan.
Put in the Starbucks, always freshly roasted
But without the right grinder, I was toasted.
My French press was ready
The boiling water steady
Sadly the bean grinder did not grind my beans
off to return it seems.
This is a great grinder that I wish I had gotten sooner. It grinds a perfect cup of coffee easily and cleans up well. Highly recommended for those that like to make just a cup or two of coffee at a time.
I was looking for a coffee miller that works when the power is off and like this one. I grind my coffee daily. It is slower than an electric but more consistent grind [for the price] for my expresos machine. It does take a bit of exercise every morning, and I never use the small inter jar. Handle can come off and I did try using my electric drill once, but I prefer the hand crank. I havent tried cleaning it yet, but all that goes into this one is coffee beans. It did have an annoying squeak for the first few weeks, but a drop or 2 olive oil eliminated the squeak. I suspect an oily bean would also take care of the squeak, I was using a very dry bean.
I like it that it is small and easy to use. Great for traveling and just get that fresh taste. you do need to hand crank it obviously but thats half the fun. most of it is easy to clean but you do need the little brush that came with it to clean the grinder itself
The grinder works. The construction might be mostly plastic, but it works. It feels sturdy enough when using it. And the grind level selection works very well. My copy however did broke down after a year of use. I contacted the vendor, and told them what happen and ask if they could send me another one. Vendor asked a few questions and sent me one without too much hassle. To me thats good warranty. I am going to give it another try.

Poor design
Poor design. The crank is too long making it awkward to grind.
Ok for the price
