This grind is great for an entry into becoming a coffee head, but it seriously lacks the grind consistency to be considered good. not to mention if you like to brew different ways its difficult to change the grind size easily back and forth without some trial and error. after a few months of use, the shaft has bent and now produces even less grind size control than before. I recommend just getting a good electric grinder. Buy once, cry once.
it a guessing game on the size of the grind, no pre adjustment settings, takes a while to grind the coffee beans, i hate to say it, but spend the extra money to get an electric burr grinder with preset grind settings
This is the second one Ive bought. There is something missing. If you adjust the height of the grinder for the size of the grind, it wont stay at that level. It still works, but its janky.
It is difficult to compare because it is the first time to use this type of coffee bean grinder to me, but to talk about the regrettable things for users who use it for the first time, the left hand holding the bottle is uncomfortable when I grinding coffee beans and the coffee beans does not grind to a certain size evenly. But I decided to keep it because its not bad to use in general and its good for the price.
The instructions werent that great but some fiddling around I was able to adjust the grinder from fine to coarse. At fine it takes A LONG TIME to grind but it is a great grind!
I bought this because if the price so I didnt expect much. It looks nice on my counter. The mechanics are quite simple, adjusting the coarseness of the grind takes a few more steps than I would hope but its simple once you understand how to do it. The biggest problem I found is when you set to a fine grind, you really have to spend some time cranking on the handle to get the results. Im talking a good few minutes for a single cup, if you wanted to do a whole pot this one maybe isnt for you.
The grinder is good for the price and the rubber grip bottom is nice. However, as a guy, even with hands that can easily grip around the neck to hold and grind coffee. It is a little uncomfortable due to the hard plastic.
Add a silicone ring to put along the middle and this would be MUCH better.

Decent Grinder. Hard to hold?
