Had a little hiccup as the two boxes were delivered on different days, but this appears to be a UPS screw up, no fault of the seller. My two sons said the chair was easy to assemble and it seems quite comfortable. I have now problems standing up from it. The reclining feature is great and Im able to charge my phone and iPad from the port on the side. So far / very pleased with it. The motor is almost silent.
We purchased this chair after my mother broke her humerus bone and had great difficulty standing up. As said in the headline it has made a tremendous difference in my moms recovery. It has given her that extra boost she needed to get up on her own which in turn led to greater mobility and thus recovery from her injury.
A couple of notes on the chair from my mom.
Positives + With the tilt motion she is able to get up by herself. Motion is smooth with quiet mechanisms. The chair stretches out so you can also sleep in it, lots of positions. Another positive is the drink holders on both sides.
Negatives / Cord for remote is not long enough.
Armrest are too wide, leaner armrest would lead to more area for sitting or moving.
In closing, this being our first adjustable tilting recliner, we are very very satisfied with this purchase.
Purchased this for my mother after she shattered her leg and has been non weight bearing for 12 weeks already / she said it is very comfortable , as she slept in it for a while and lounges in it daily . Very sturdy , she feels very safe reclining all the way back and extending it to stand up . It was an unfortunate purchase ,as it is for medical reasons, but I believe she will be keeping it once she is healed !

Got this chair for my 82 yrs old dad, who suffered a stroke this past March, and now has extreme difficulties getting up from a sitting position. This chair makes things much easier for him, and he just loves it. Thank you!
I ordered this chair to assist me getting up from a seating position as I have severe rheumatoid arthritis. It is perfect for me! It is not bulky .doesnt take up a lot of room. The installation was simple. The electrical movements are smooth. I am very pleased with the quality of this chair!
Im very happy with my lift chair. The one thing I wish it had was a more upright sitting position with leg rest up. It has more of a recline in the first position. It doesnt lift as high as my moms did. But overall I like it and was a good price.
I bought it as a gift for my sister in law post surgery. She was not doing well couldnt get comfortable so I bought her this chair. She loves it so much, she wants to pay me for it.
