It took a while to assemble for a person of my age,80+, and since it must be assembled upside down, it took 2 strong grand sons to turn it over and put it in place before connecting the cord and pump for the mattress. It has places for 9 volt back up batteries in case the electric goes off in the up position. The wireless remote has a button that returns the bed to the flat position with just one touch. Fantastic and Sturdy.
purchased from , after reading reviews was a little nervous about it but for the price it was worth trying. i had no issues with damage, the unit assembled with no problems, took about half an hour to assemble, full size so did not have to pair remote, all functions working so far only have it for a few days so will post again in about a month. My mom loves it.
I bought this adjustable bed for my dad before he had open heart surgery. I wanted a bed we could put in the living room and he could easily sleep, watch TV, eat, etc. But I didnt want to bother with renting a hospital bed.
I was not there for the arrival of the bed, but my dad and brother said the assembly process was fine. This bed was perfect for my dads recovery. Along with the new foam mattress I bought, he said it was the best sleep hed had in a long time. And having the adjustable headrest was perfect, as it allowed him to slowly return to a horizontal sleeping position over time.
Its been 9 months and my dad still swears by this bed. He sleeps horizontal most of the time, but he still adjusts it if his allergies are acting up or if he wants to read. The massage function is nice when hes sore at the end of the day. Easy to set up.

I ordered this because I have heath issues with getting in and out of bed. Due to limited income I considered this a very good deal. It has never worked since I received it. I am not able to lift and move it around. I have had difficulty getting help to resolve the matter. The last response from the person representing customer service for this company in correcting the matter was to do what another customer has done for their problem. So far, no positive results. I do not like being negative, but being truthful. If there is anyone out there that has had any problems with their purchases, please offer some help, if you can. I would deeply appreciate it. I am a Senior and have very limited means of getting things done. Thanking you in advance.
This base is very nice. The setup instructions were very clear, but when it came time to connect the color/coded cords, the actual motor cords would not connect properly. I called customer service and he said to take the little plastic piece off above where the connections are, then they will insert properly. Well, there is a trick. You cannot just push them in, you have to jiggle them while pushing, and then they snap in when all the little prongs are lined up. It worked the exact same way with both motors. For the quality and ease of set up, this is 5 star, but I was very disappointed in the UPS delivery. I could not be home on the day it delivered (a day early) so I left 2 notes for UPS, requesting they drop the item by the front door (which is up 5 steps). They left it in the carport, right where I park my car. True, I did not pay extra for setup, but I was disgusted that UPS took my note that said I was elderly and needed the bed left by the front door. My boys were out of town. I had to open the container, and with great difficulty, bring the pieces in on a dolly cart. I had to lay plastic and push it end over end up the stairs in the rain and through the front door. It was very very difficult to manage. I dislike UPS, who has done this repeatedly, even with small packages. They leave them in the carport where there is no door, and if it were not for texted confirmations of delivery, I would never know I had a delivery. I hope can work around this ly company in the future. I love this!
My mother got a major brand name that doesnt have the bar at the foot of the bed nor the massage feature, not goes up high enough for using a computer and paid 4xs more. I love this adjustable bed. I sleep so much better. Good product!
there is no information on the uses of the use of the different features on the remote control and how to set it up. im also having problems keeping the cables connected beautiful.
Update 6/10/18: I just wrote my review and the USB ports stopped charging. I looked under the bed and its still plugged in and its warm but they dont work / Ive gone all over to try to figure pout how to message to get help and I cant find assistance anywhere. .So far I am very happy with this bed base / I have had it for three weeks so far. I have been sleeping in a recliner for over 2 years because of fibromyalgia. I finally decided to try sleeping in a bed again. I had a memory foam mattress previously but I would be so comfortable that I wouldnt move enough and then when I did move I would be in a lot of pain. I then slept in a hospital bed that had a crappy mattress. The adjust/ability of the bed was great but the mattress was not so I decided to marry the two.
I researched so many adjustable bed frames and memory foam mattresses that I was beginning to drive myself batty. I had decided on this bed frame rather quickly / the mattress took a little longer. I had decided on this frame because it was in the right price range, it had good reviews, and the functions were what I was looking for.
I received the bed base and had no problems setting it up (I ordered a full size bed). Im 53 and on disability but it was really easy to set up. It was for the most part together right out of the box. I had emptied my room and the UPS driver brought the box right in my bedroom. I initially put two of the pieces for each leg on, keeping one section off, I later decided to take the other section off to lower the bed because I have a small dog and if I put the foot of the bed up it was a bit too high for her to be jumping on and off and I didnt want her to get hurt. I did find it a bit odd that the box that has the wires plugged into it slides into a metal shelf under the bed frame but there was no way to make it stay in there. It would have fallen out when flipping the bed frame over so I used a twistie to secure it in the metal casing. I had someone help me flip it over so that I would not damage the legs and I was good to go.
I have not used the memory buttons yet but I plan on it. I do find that I sleep in the zero gravity position, with a couple of small adjustments most of the time and it seems to be the most comfortable position for me to sleep in. I was very surprised to find that the massage actually works! I thought that it couldnt possibly work since it has to go through the mattress. I also thought that since it was just head and feet that it would only do head and feet. But, at the high setting you definitely can feel it and it vibrates the whole body. Of course its not like a massage but you do get good vibration from it (it startles my dog so I dont do it that much). Its also good that I live on a first floor. If I was above someone I would not use it because I imagine the ceiling of the person under me would be shaking.
The only minor problem I had was that I have hard wood floors and the bed would move easily and if it got too close to the wall and I lowered the head of the bed it would get stuck on the plug in the outlet and it wouldnt go down all the way. So I put a rug at the bottom of my bed so now it doesnt move around at all and I dont have to worry about that. Other than that / which is a very minor issue/ I have not found any other cons with this bed frame. perfect.
