This bed is really cute, and comes with a great price tag! The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it does not have anything to help keep the mattress in place. Simple little inset rails would have been perfect. The mattress just sits on top of the frame and it slides around witch is annoying.
Pretty easy to assemble once you wrap your head around the vague instruction diagrams. Be sure to put it together in the room it belongs in - not in the adjacent loft space that seemed so convenient and like such a brilliant idea- as the headboard wont fit through a standard doorframe (yes, I should have noticed that ahead of time).Very sturdy construction and Im positive that its never coming apart. Definitely worth the money.
I just bought a home and ordered the bed with matching nightstand and dresser for my 17 yr old Son. He was able to assemble the entire bed in about 2 hours. It looks beautiful and is very sturdy.
Shipping was great. The strong mental frame is awesome very sturdy keeps my back perpendicular instead of wood frames that have a tendency over time become weak and allows your back to slouch with the mattress. Causing pain. Last night was my first night sleeping a very good lasting sleep. Only waking up once to go to the restroom. So good in the morning I did not want to get up. All the other times in my old wood frame. I was up two and three times a night. Also some of the credit goes to the new extra firm dream sleeper mattress . On a solid mental frame is the way to go. Now others may have different opinion. But if you have a bad back. And you know bending over Causes you a lot of back pain. Picture laying on a weak mattress and weak bed frame. Which cases you back to feel bent over. Even though at first it feels great then over time your back gives you pain from sleeping with your back in a continuous bow type sleep compared to perpendicular back staying straight . And trying to sleep for 8 hours. I am sure you will wake up with back pain? Thank you all for the great product and ingenuity you all have put into this. I will surely would buy this frame again.
Update. I will definitely but again. I have been sleeping on this ever since September 2,2022. My theory was right. Keep the back straight. And not bow in the bed. You will have no back pain. I am now pain free in my lower back. Very good mental frame and awesome firm mattress. My back is no longer feeling bend over whicle sleeping. But stay straight with no sagging.
Love theblooks of this frame. I ordered 2 at the same time. One was a king and the other a queen. They were set to be delivered at the same time, but when the frame was delivered...only the queen arrived. I had to wait almost another week for the king to be delivered.
