This bed is attractive and very sturdy, the perfect height with a 12 mattress. Assembly was a little tricky however. The package of screws had come apart leaving some of it a bit of a guessing game and the instructions are all pictures and no words which are difficult to understand at time. But overall we are very pleased!!!
The bed frame took a while to put together, and there are ALOT of pieces. The little supplied wrench will take some patience. There are gaps in the bed, and I have a king. Its a huge gap in the headboard part, so my pillows often slide through the gaps. I have a king mattress, so I know the size is not the issue, however, the sides of the mattress fit okay. its just the headboard part and feet part you have to worry about
I bought the king size and my Hubby was surprised at how easy it was for him to assemble this bed. It is really sturdy and I love that no box spring is needed. The frame is already about 14 high and with my mattress added, my bed is now about 29-30 from the floor. My 2 year old grandson cant climb up on his own! Lol
Oh.. and its enough space for a vacuum or broom to get underneath to clean which is a bonus! Its not as fancy as I wouldve liked but I will jazz it up with bedding and artwork on the walloverall, Im happy with this platform bed purchase.
My only issue is my electronic mattress riser underneath my mattress slides on the bed frame(thats my issue tho and not an issue with the actual bed or frame)just sharing in case anyone else likes the electronic mattress risers that elevate the upper and lower ends of the mattress too.
After a bad experience with Coleman Furniture company I decided to browse and found this bed frame with decent reviews and I decided to give it a try. My son and I assembled it in about 3 hours. There was two faulty hardware and I reached out to the company and they had great communication and follow through with replacement. I was really impressed with them. This item is decent for the price and I like the fact that we can buy large storage bins for underneath the bed. This works out better than a captain bed which are rather expensive and could ultimately break down.
The screws did not match the pre drilled holes. 8 out of 10 screws stripped very easily. I had to rethread almost every hole. Cheaply made. Im hoping to get at least half a year out of this product.
