We ordered the beds with the two mattresses. We chose to receive without the white glove feature. The only real problem with that is that the beds and mattresses come in one massive box. It was certainly packed well, was a big job just getting it all out of the box. Once done with that was easy to carry individual parts upstairs. Assembly was easy, just install four bolts and tighten nuts.. The only real trouble with any receiving and finishing the setup, was managing the box and shipping material. We are confirmed recyclers, and the only way the City will pickup recycling material is if it fits in the cart. That meant cutting up all of that cardboard. So, Im telling you, the packaging was the biggest issue with the beds. Everything else is fine. Mattresses are not the top of the line, but they are better than weve had at times when we have visited someone. And we are buying pads to put under the four legs of the top bed.
I was looking for a flexible trundle bed and I bought a separate model, but I wish I found this one first - what I love about this model is that you can pull up the bottom trundle so that you can have either two twin beds or join them together and have a queen side bed. It gives you the most functionality since you can host individual guests or couples, and then you can neatly store the trundle underneath to save square footage during the day. It was super easy to put together and seems sturdy - and their customer service team is absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend!
Were VERY pleased with our new daybed! It replaced one that is 36 years old. Its VERY sturdy. The instructions were easy to follow. NO Squeaks! Our 6-7 inch mattresses fit like they were made for this bed. The dark bronze goes well with light oak furniture. Definitely a keeper!!!

Assembly instructions could be better. Definitely TWO PERSON task!
The bed looks great once assembled and seems sturdy. The assembly directions are pictures only, with no text, thus making some steps very sketchy!
