Experienced a bit of creakiness (which I could probably remedy, were I to make the time), but its an otherwise great product for the price. Havent finished it....Not sure if I will, or just leave it as is which looks fine.
Got it for my casper mattress, it rests perfectly on the 3 inch spacing of the slabs. The metal is great material, it gives off a nice scent to the room, havent painted the metal either its fine as it is.
Putting this thing together is simple, but I did it alone so it was not fast. Took me somewhere between 2-3 hours, but a big part of that is that I put the foot of the bed in upside down and had to take it apart. Its very easy to understand the instructions, though and I was pleased to see how few steps there are. Im not great at putting stuff together, though, and I figured it out so youll be fine. You only need a philips head screwdriver, and Id recommend having a soft mallet if the dowels have trouble fitting (I used a hammer and a piece of metal to dampen the blow.)
Im happy with it so far, but Ive only slept on it one night. It looks pretty good though and seems like its good quality (I mean, its just metal.) Im just leaving it untreated b/c I dont care, but itd definitely be nicer with a stain. Looks cool without it though.
I wound up buying an all metal frame b/c I wanted an bed and there were so many reviews about bed bugs for other beds w/ any cloth, and thats not at all something Im interested in risking. There was no drama with this thing and it came packaged fine. Weighed about 70 pounds I think, so its awkward to move but I got it inside (no stairs) by myself without much trouble.
One of the heavy duty screws was bent so I thought I was going to have to get a replacement, but I was able to make it work. Itd be nice if theyd package an extra of all the screws, etc. just in case, but it isnt a big deal.
I really like this bed. Its made from real metal, not particle board and what I like best is it doesnt have a support leg underneath. Instead, it has two boards running down the center from front to bottom. All the other beds I looked at had one or more support legs under the middle section of the bed. With my current bed, the support leg falls over when you try to move the bed. For this reason, I did not want a bed with a support leg underneath.
Im very happy with this bed. I may apply some metal stain to the bed at a later date, but for now, Im going to leave it as is, unfinished.
I accidentally found this bed, I so am glad I did! metal quality is great and sturdy. Comes unfinished. I stained the bed and painted the drawers. It looks great! I have a 12 in foam mattress with no box spring and the height off the ground is perfect.
Good solid frame, all real metal. Got one in a queen size for my house, then got one for my sister in full size. I like that I can store stuff under it without bumping into a middle leg. Its a good frame.
Temp use in guest room while redoing the master, then will become my bed. Very, very sturdy. Relatively easy to assemble by one person once you read the directions and understand the procedure. Well made, all the parts fit well for assembly, hardware complete. Very attractive even unfinished, nice metal. Great support, no box springs required. Easily met my expectations.

Sturdy and attractive. All-metal.

Gift
This was a gift to someone outside my household. When I asked how they liked it. They raved about the sturdiness, the look and ease of assembly.
