For the price it is a reasonable buy Perfect bed for my daughters small room. Thankfully we didnt have any issues like the other reviewers. All pieces were there and wood is sturdy. We bought the full size in white.
Functional and nice looking We ordered the Camaflexy Concord Full Junior loft bed and it arrived right on time. The box is VERY HEAVY as it truly is made of solid wood. All parts were included and accounted for. It took my wife and I over 2 hours to assemble. We purchased a Sealy 8 medium memory foam mattress to go on the bed. We waited for the bed to finish off-gassing before unfurling the mattress. Our 9 year old daughter absolutely loves it! Since its a junior loft, the space underneath is low but perfect for sliding a dresser underneath or a beanbag chair to create a reading nook. The weight capacity for the full size model is 500 lbs.
CONS: The screws included with the bed are a soft metal and its easy to strip the screws when using power tools. Also, the painted finish has a strong odor (white finish) so we had to let the bed off-gas for 2 days.
Gorgeous color and design This bed is great! My boyfriend was able to assemble it himself even with a 2.5 year old trying to help. All 3 of us have laid in it - its very sturdy. I do agree that a twin size comforter is best as the sides have 0 room to tuck the blanket in. Pictured on the bed is a full sized one. My daughter loves it! It took her a little practice to get the hang of getting up and down, but she figured out if she puts her folding stool at the bottom it makes the last step easier, haha. This was a great purchase at a fair price.
Elegant and very comfortable Better thank I expected. My daughter is in love of her new bed!
Assembly wasnt as easy but my husband used a power tool.
No defective wood or parts. Its absolutely perfect.
It is comfortable and easy to store and assemble. Just finished building this (full size)...pro tip: one of the lower sideboards is special and has holes for the ladder in it. Put that on the ladder side or youll be drilling new holes. I also almost ran in to the problem with the first slat splitting the board that the slats rest on...I didnt have a drill extension to do a pilot hole, but I used a C-clamp to hold it while I screwed it in (by hand) and while I saw minor splitting on one, the other 3 were successful. In mine, the bed supports that people have complained about were not laminated pieces but are single long pieces of wood. They were a bit warped and dont feel substantial enough for the long run, so I will be replacing them with either a more solid type of wood or possibly something metal. The ladder entry is also a bit tight for anyone except for really little kids. Ill probably have to expand it in the future.
My son loves it, though, and when you cant do a higher loft bed this isnt a bad choice. The space underneath is indeed pretty tight, but were putting cubbies underneath it with a twin mattress for guests and a reading area. It would also be great for increasing storage space in a room.
Gorgeous and well-built I purchased this bed for my granddaughter when she comes over and I need the the underside for storage space! It was easy to assemble and I only needed an extra set of hands for about five minutes other than that its a one person job. I would recommend a power screwdriver or drill to make the job faster. The elapsed time from when I opened the box until I put the mattress on top was about an 1hr and a half or so. Its sturdy and attractive. The only reason it doesnt have 5 stars is because of the smell of the stain/finish on the wood. Its not pleasant but has seemed to air out over the last few weeks. Price vs quality if excellent!
Smart-Looking and Comfortable I bought this for my 16 yr old son. It wasnt to hard to put together. We did it together and it took a couple hours, taking our time. My only complaint is that one of the long support beams (which are not solid beams but put together tongue and groove style) split within a few mos of putting this together. I would also suggest getting a bunkie board for under the mattress. Otherwise its pretty sturdy. My sons a big kid, and it holds him well. Theres tons of storage room underneath.
Exactly what I was looking for Took awhile to assemble. Also a little squeaky when my 3 year old is getting in or out of bed. Nice bed for the price looks great in his room. He loves it

Sturdy real wood bed- caution regarding need to Off-Gas and soft metal screws

Not bad, but needs reinforcement
