Ill start with this is the first time I felt a strong urge to review any product. I conduct wildlife surveys which require me to walk against a current in North Eastern US streams in spring and fall.... this isnt always an easy feat even when we wear good quality gear, a ton of reading reviews went into me choosing this product and I do not regret it. I have now been out in streams almost a dozen times over the past 2 months. That being said, pros and cons:
- Fit is comfortable especially with the sock that fits well with my mens 8 (7.5 womens typically) boot made by the same company. The only downside for me has been that my legs are slightly longer when I bend my knees (but I could adjust the shoulder straps and wear the crotch baggier technically), but the clip that attaches to the boot works its way loose maybe 2x per trip, slightly annoying but does not hinder me.
- Durable, as I havent gotten a hole yet and Im occasionally climbing downed logs with sharp sticks and snagging through briars.
-I like the color and they look good on (actually better than teal like some expensive womens waders).
-I love the belt, very comfortable feature.
-Inside front pocket would be ok to use and is a nice feature but its not waterproof (would only matter if water tops over into the waders), it does fit my phone but I still choose to carry my phone in a separate dry bag anyways. I would not trust the 2 outer pockets with anything that you do not want to get wet, Ive tested these with things that could get wet.
Ill just reiterate, they arent perfect but very functional and comfortable to do the job and withstand lots of activity at a reasonable price!!
Everything about these waders is great, except one thing and it’s a big one. The boot. The boot is comfortable and warm however the heel design is horrible. There is no curvature in the heel on the inside of the boot so when you walk the heel doesn’t grab and your foot slips up from the boot. I read reviews about this problem and so I order a size smaller on the boot and it still does it. I will try to buy insoles or make something up to keep my foot snug in the boot. Overall great bang for your buck just keep in mind the boot design is bad. ORDER A SIZE SMALLER (maybe even 2 if you can) TO MAKE BOOT SNUG.
They keep the water out but your clothes will still be soaked. They dont breathe at all and you sweat like a pig. Probably decent for cooler weather but not for summer heat.
I ordered the 3m for my son last year and he was impressed. I needed a pair so after seeing the quality and well thought out design I ordered myself a set and didnt realize I ordered the 5m. My waders arrived the day we were leaving to go hunt (sooner than expected) and MAN was I excited! These things are awesome in every way. They came with an unexpected shell holder, waterproof phone case, and hanging straps! They fit nicely over blue jeans and had enough bells and whistles to keep me bragging to my buddies who were wearing Drakes. I spent less than half and have just as good a wader!
I should have listened to my son on sizing. They do not make 1/2 sizes and I should have ordered a size 9 instead of the 10s. These do run a bit big on your feet. Other than the boots being a little on the big side, (which was my fault) I love these things!!! I will order again if these ever wear out.
Does Tidwe make a hunting coat??? It rained all three days of our early season but only my arms and head got wet thru my old wore out coat. My back, chest, and lower half were DRY!
Hello everyone! This is a good product, light and comfortable, I’m 6’2 and I have a large one, after I read couples reviews ,fits perfect just right, no waste , no tight. My regular boots are 10-1/2 I’m not sure about the durability yet, but for this price you will not find a better than this one . I RECOMMEND.
The crotch is wildly tight and bunchy when the rest of the wader is pretty large for its stated size. couldnt get past the discomfort down there so I am sending back.

They are warm, yet easy to maneuver in. Great value for the price.
