After unpacking this ottoman, I tightened all the hinge screws and found that a few of them were not very tight. The four stubby legs were packed separately (in the same box), and were very easy to screw on. The material would look more like real if it werent quite so shiny. But, it looks okay. Plus, the is thinner than real . It makes we wonder how long it will be before it tears or gets a hole poked in it. Time will tell. When opened all the way, the lid stays open until you close it. The top is padded and makes a good seat ! Max weight when used as a seat is 200 pounds. I have mentioned three or four negatives things about this ottoman. But overallit looks pretty decent and it has a lot of room inside to hide my clutter!
Exactly as expected. No quality issues. Is kinda a blue gray but that is no issue for my use. Fits nicely at the end of our Cali Kind bed with about 1 on each side so no one stubs toes on their way to the bathroom at night. The dog loves using it to hop up on our bed which is pretty high. One thing we added was rubber pads so it doesnt slide on our hard wood floors. Fits my husbands size 13 shoe boxes in the storage area. Now I get more closet!
Cant beat the price and quality.
Works great for our kids toys to be up and out of the way in our loft. Its opens easily. The assembly was put in backwards so my husband had to fit that and rescrew in the one control arm but afterwards we havent had any problems
