Very nice product! My husband and I have been married for a rock solid 29 years, but the assembly of this bed damn near ended that. We are both very intelligent, skilled and technical individuals, not without good hand eye coordination and mechanical skills. Lots of previous reviews of this bed mentioned that it is a two person job to put this bed together, and they were not just kidding. With some counseling, I feel that our marital closeness can be restored, but if you want to put this bed together, you better hire someone who is both deaf and mute as your assistant, because guaranteed, one of you is going to be cussing up a storm.
Now, once you spend the entire day messing this thing up and redoing it to finally get it right, it is sturdy and beautiful. All of the dowels and bolt holes lined up and we did not have to do any jerry/rigging. The assembly instructions were clear and concise and all the needed parts are there. The bed looks beautiful in our Asian inspired guest room and since neither my husband or I came out of the assembly process with black eyes, I guess I will keep it. The most pain in the ass part of putting this bed together is getting all those little slats to stay where they are supposed to. This is not an assembly for the faint of heart or quitters. Trust me on this.
While I am overall very pleased with the finished product, I would not take on this assembly again for all the tea in China. I would gladly pay more and get one that didnt strain my marriage if I had it all to do over again.

Will be ordering more. Was not sure about ordering something like this via on/line, but no more! Arrived in manageable packaging. Instructions were fair. I read others who also were confused about the Styrofoam pieces. Never made my install, but not a big deal. I do recommend 2 people for the install. Managed most on my own, but once the long pieces were connected, moving to install on my own was risky. Working fine and is used a lot. I like the idea from another review to purchase more slats for under the mattress. But working fine with what came with it so far.

Well built!! I only gave it four stars because the assembly instructions are not clear and one piece was chipped. Although was quick to take care of it. It does take 2 people and patience to assemble it, but the work is worth it. It looks very nice and sturdy. The small wooden pegs on the side and back are the hardest part, after you get that done the rest is not complicated. Would definitely order this bed again in the future.
Worth a buy. Not many choices when it comes to full size day beds. This one came quickly In a large box/ our ups person was thrilled about carrying this to our door. It was hard to build this without a second person to hold things together for you, also there was (foam peanut) peg buffers they instruct you to put into the holes to hold the pegs in place Took us awhile to figure out this foam was what they were talking about, we thought we just didnt get all the pieces to make the bed. Hard to line up some of the bolts and screws one, never went in and we just gave up. I think it looks nice and its a nice place to take naps.
Great value. The bed looks great and was pretty easy to build. My only complaint is that there are not very many wood rails to support weight on top. I just purchased some 1x3 and made 6 extra supports. I currently have tested the bed with 2 adults and a child (about 380lbs) laying on it. overall a good buy.
