    Easy to assemble.

Easy to assemble. Good quality. I would recommend this chair. I am 6 200 pounds and feel comfortable. If you follow the directions and watch the youtube video it will take about 20 minutes. My tip would be to use a drill and supplied allen bit to run the screws down close then finish tighten with supplied T wrench. The hardware is powder coated and you may have to wiggle the allen bit to fully seat in fastener to avoid damaging.

Beautiful and easy to put together.

These are beautiful. My husband put them together really quickly and we love that its not going to chip and have to be repainted. Like most rocking chairs, its straight backed but long enough for a pillow for added comfort. We get lots of compliments on these. They also clean up super quick.

Straight Forward Assembly Makes A Sturdy Rocker

Suprise, rocking motion feels like there is a stop halfway though a long rock. But the trave/rockl suits me well. Assembly comments Take your time. Look at how the pieces fit. Keep you hands off power drills screw drivers. Use the T/handled tool provided to start the screws. Get parts aligned then tighten. Cover a table with a cardboard box use it as a workbench.

Sat in chair for 30 minutes; back is still hurting 30 minutes later

Sadly, I ignored the folks who said that the chair was uncomfortable and listened to the majority. I am 54 and my husband is 6 3. Neither of us is comfortable in the chair due to the previously mentioned super straight back that pushes you forward. I cannot imagine having to read my morning coffee sitting in these chairs but my sons who put them together as a surprise trashed the boxes so I am stuck with almost 500.00 worth of chairs. I would agree that they are sturdy and look like they will last a long time. Unfortunately.

    Easy to assemble and sturdy

My spouse wanted two rocking chairs for the front porch and we saw some at Lowes for 359. I didnt understand why they were so expensive and was told that they were like Trex lumber which I am familiar with. SO, I looked here and found the Teak ones for 219 each. My thoughts are that they sit a little low for my taste even though Im only 59 and the seat back would feel more comfortable if it leaned back just a few more degrees. The seat is fairly straight and doesnt really conform to your rear or legs that well. In addition, these chairs looked a fair amount shorter than the ones at Lowes. After researching a little further, I realized that these are the models and the ones I saw at Lowes were the models which are sold on as well. The difference being that the width and seat height and depth are virtually the same but the back is about 5 inches taller on the . The model does conform more to your legs both side to side and front to back. The overall look and design is different as well. I would say from having sat in both now that the is slightly more comfortable but not 140 more comfortable to me but to each his own. As for build and quality, I was a little apprehensive about buying these what with them having a high plastic content and being a rocking chair and I cant comment on long term issues but once assembled, they seemed very sturdy and they were extremely easy to assemble. It took me about 30 minutes to put together one of them while taking my time. The chairs come in 9 pieces with 16 screws, a t/handled hex bit for manual assembly and a hex bit for a drill/driver. The holes are easy to align and I used my drill to drive them 90 of the way and the t/handle to do the final tightening. I was afraid that the drill might strip out the holes if I used it to tighten all the way. The chairs came well packaged and the material should last forever if kept clean and not abused. Ultimately, I think I would have liked the colored ones or white ones a little better than the teak simply because you expect those to be a solid color whereas the wood colored ones tend to make you think there should be some color variation like real wood. Again though, for the price difference, Im fine with what Ive got. The only thing I might suggest is adding seating cushions like what is shown in the short video with the pictures. The design could be more comfortable but overall Im happy with the product and price and more importantly, my spouse is happy.

The bar in the front under the seat was about

The bar in the front under the seat was about 1.25 inch too long. When first put on, it was bowing and the seat did not look right. I know it was too long because I ordered 2 and compared to the other chair. After I cut it, it seems to be ok

I would have given it 5 out of 5 for product quality, but putting it together was frustrating at first.

I would have given it 5 out of 5 for product quality, but putting it together was frustrating. The directions were clear (plus they give you a link to watch a video online putting it together), but any hole that receives a screw needs to be reamed out first with a 15/64 bit. Some of those holes were not big enough or long enough. Once we figured that out with the first chair, we just automatically reamed out the holes on the other three we bought first and then it went fast with no issues.
