    Fun bunkbed

Lighter gauge steel than expected, but otherwise easy to assemble and fairly durable. I needed to use a thread locking compound to keep some of the screws from coming loose.

I'm very happy with this bed

I'm giving it 5 stars because I got it on sale for less than $130, no tax and free shipping. A little personal modification and it's perfect, love it, love it, love it. And 's customer service is the best.

Solid construction more than I expected for the price.

Buy it you won't be sorry. You do Have to put it together, so it's a good idea to have 1 or 2 friends help you. It will take about an hour to put together. Everything is clearly labeled, so just spread it all out on the floor and follow the directions. Also in another comment I read about a step the book put out of sequence involving the ladder. So when I put it together I made sure to put the ladder in before tightening up the rails for the top bunk. Also when you put in the 48 or so metal ribs after you put them in you have to snap 2 hard plastic pieces on the end of each rib to keep them from popping out. This can be painful and tedious.

Awesome, sturdy, easy to put together

We bought two after reading many reviews, for our girls to have an L-shaped loft. Love them! I can say that even though they are tied together, they do wobble a little bit when i climb up in it. The step bars are hard on the feet too, all in all a great purchase!

    walker edison twin trundle bed

I bought this item because my family was coming for a visit and I needed extra beds. The trundle bed was easy to put together and it took me less than an hour from start to finish. The instructions were easy to follow and there were no missing parts. I also bought the signature sleep essential 6-inch twin mattress. Even though I had measure the estimated dimensions, I was still relieved that the complete unit (trundle w/ mattress) fit perfectly under the daybed. I should also report that the person using the new bed (6 nights)said it was comfortable. Thanks .

There are good reviews already so I won't go over what too ...

I ordered this bed a week ago and was able to build it over the weekend. There are good reviews already so I won't go over what too much over what has been said, only things that may help during the building of the bed if you decide to purchase. First, instructions in the beginning are wrong. Certain pieces are numbered 1 - 8. The instructions reference for example pieces 1 and 3 when it is actually 2 and 4. After reading other reviews, I decided to open the box and read through all the instructions the night before so that I can have an idea of where the pieces need to go even though the instructions say otherwise. If you take the time to read ahead and have a visual idea of which pieces go where, it will make things run much smoother. It took me one person 2 x 4 hour days to build but I was building at a very leisurely rate. It could be done in one but I would recommend allotting 2 days just in case. Another note is that the package comes in 2 pieces, the main bed portion which once built, is a complete bunk bed minus the desk. It even includes the clips to fill in the holes if you decided to not install the desk. The second box contains all the desk pieces. One odd thing is each box contains its own set of screws/washers/etc which are assigned a letter for easy reference in the instructions. One box will contain for example a 1/4 screw referenced as the "A" while the other box containing the exact same screw is referenced as "F". Makes no sense. When installing the desk portion, I realized I was missing certain screws, they just didn't include enough. But I had 10-15 left over from building the main bed part that I was able to use. It was just strange that the same screw was labeled as a different letter but at the end, I had all the screws I needed. Once built, this is a very nice bed. I bought a pool noodle to wrap around the stairs since they are very thin and my daughter says it hurts her feet. I wish those pieces would have been covered in rubber. Last tip and I believe the most important is that this same exact bed currently sells on a large mulitinational retail corporation (which I believe the name and price can't be listed on ) for much cheaper, shipping included. Same exact bed made by Walker Edison. I will leave it to you to do some research for the deal. All in all, we are very satisfied with this bed.
