My 13 year old daughter has been using this for a year now and still loves it. No problems with the construction at all. The metal rungs make it hard for this mom to climb up to help with sheets, but there are fine for kids.
This is a very nice bunk bed, both beds support 300 lbs. But it is big, with the way they make new house with very small bedrooms, this thing takes up about 1/4 of the room.
The deliver was good in two days and the quality is better than average. It is not a typical just assembling the full pieces, but lots of small connection pieces that take time to put together... We made so many mistakes as the instruction was terrible, we had to open back up and do again. But the bed looks great after is completed and is sturdy.

It went very well because I read the reviews about assembly first. The absolute worst part was the little clips, they were AWFUL. Great value; the beds are very sturdy, and there's plenty of head room when sitting up on the bottom bunk.

We purchased the beds "used" from Warehouse. They were in perfect condition, with all parts and instruction intact. My husband and I assempled the beds in a matter of 2 hours, with very few errors. They are sturdy (so far) and exactly as represented on-line.
I gave them a "4" rating just because I find the ladders to be difficult to negotiate, even for older children.

We ordered bunk beds from 2 different companies through . This one we paid a little more for, but it is well worth the price. We were impressed with the quality and the appearance of the materials and parts. Putting the bed together will be much easier if you always take a good look at the part that's being called for and observe which side the drilled holes are on. If you don't pay attention to this detail you may end up installing pieces that will have to be undone later because the holes are on the wrong side. Other reviewers have mentioned that it's important not to tighten the bolts too much and that's certainly the case. You need to have some flexibility. It can be helpful to use a powered screw-driver or drill at times, but that's when you need to be careful not to over-tighten until the unit is completed. The spacers used between the metal bars that will support a mattress can be a bit tricky to push into place. We found that using a rubber mallet with a small piece of wood to tap the spacers into place worked like a charm. A great looking finished product that we believe is a great value.
I purchased 2 of these and they were simple to put together. I did use a small mallet to insert the plastic tabs. They were the only rough part about putting them together. The trundle was purchased to fit under an existing twin bed. They fit under the beds nicely. I liked that they were close to the ground so I could put a standard mattress on it and still get it under the bed.
This is a great bed but putting it together was another story. The instructions are not right. The image reference where and what pieces go together but it was opposite. (I'm referring to a sticker) Because your put it together the way the instructions are telling you, you will be taking the bed back apart. I'm giving it 4 stars because it is very hard to convert the futon part from bed to couch, it takes 2 people or one strong person to do this. But this is a very sturdy bed and NOT squeeky....
I got this for my girls (5 annd 7) and I could not be more thrilled with our purchase! I looks great, it is very sturdy, and assembly was easier than I had anticipated.
